Worth coming to!I was hesitant to come eat here as it is a smoking place BUT it doesn't smell of smoke and when I was there no one was smoking.It has some of the best tacos in the area. Good beer. Great people. Friendly, welcoming service! They make you feel at home the moment you sit down. The Local has a good selection of American and Mexican dishes.Their beer selection was better than the traditional domestics,Parking is a bit tricky due to current construction on 4th st. There is parking in the back via the alley access.

Great place on the Southside of downtown Lafayette. Authentic Mexican specialties with a full grill thrown in. I had tacos and ceviche and highly recommend both. Also had my share of PBR highboys. Service was very efficient and friendly. And the setting, while simple was authentic and friendly. Highly recommend!
