“This is my second visit here finally and I must say.. I was absolutely impressed with the service.. friendly fast and frigging delicious!!! I don't even think I blinked but 3 times and our street corn was already out being handed to us. the roasted chicken tacos are to die for says my babe. I really enjoy their shrimp tacos with the mango Habanero sauce to put on em.. Definitely recommend this restaurant.”

“Inital apperances are everything and this place ticked all the boxes right away. A very cozy environment surrounded by hard working and friendly employees. Food itself was really good for cost, overall pleasantly surprised by the great service for the price of the establishment.”

“Luckily found this place last minute. They took us in at 9 and told us kitchen was closing in 5 min. which was fine for us.Food was very tasty. Couple things I would comment on for improvement. They sent out an appetizer along with the food without even acknowledging it. Also I asked for hot sauce and they brought out store bought sauce that did not go with the dish. I wish that they had a homemade spicy sauce that would compliment the dish. But aside from that everything else was good and would definitely eat there again.Street Parking could be a bit tough depending on time.”

“What a great choice for a date night! We dined at the Bistro this past weekend, and the food, service, atmosphere, and drinks were so fantastic, that we even went for dessert! Delish!”

“I am not usually a Mexican food person but yesterday I decided to order some. I searched around for some place we have not ordered from before (mainly because I haven’t liked anywhere). We ordered through door dash from here. We got Pollo Fiesta, chimichangas, pollo con arroz, elotes and salsa and cheese dip. Mind blown… this food was SOOO good! Even through doordash (which was fast and fresh!). This is now my family’s go to restaurant! My only disappointment is I didn’t order their guacamole because what was on the chimichangas was the best we’ve ever had! I’m definitely recommending this place to everyone. We will be coming in to eat soon. I have also seen on the Nextdoor App others saying how great their experience was there too.”

“Wow I love this place! Half hidden city brewery, fun bar area, and they do it right! Glad to have a replacement for my dearly departed Escape Velocity who has gone up to that big vat in the sky leaving me with only Teays River for hearty dark stouts. But hey, enter Knapptronix and their wiley ways with sours, oh bless me! I've sampled most of the menu the past months now, eager for their winter stuff, can happily say it's all good. Rich, creamy, enticing on all sorts of flavors, and we have had excellent service too. Alas no foods but thankfully Revolution BBQ, Lafayette Brewing company, and a many other top notch option are on this main downtown drag. It is too easy for me to give a ten for anyplace service a quality spur yet they do more than one here! Come try everything and get a growler or two, I have and definitely will again.”

“Pretty good non-communal men’s bathroom. Clean with only a slight smell of pee which is most likely because of the drain placement on the floor and not the quality of cleaning.Stocked paper towel and TPDoor locks and also has urinal.Food and employees were great and quick”

“This was my first time coming to Kitami. I didn’t grab my servers name but she did a great job. I asked her about a chefs special roll and she was not wrong, it was great. I also ordered two other rolls — a cucumber eel roll and yellowfin roll. Based on my selections she went out of her way to offer other recommendations for future visits based on my choices. The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. I am going to try her recommendations on the next visit as they both sounded amazing. Thanks for the good food and friendly service.”

“The Gyro was delicious, the garlic Naan and pickled onions are so good! Never had fries like that, very plentiful, first time visit. Lunch time rush seems like a thing, but not too loud. Older waitress may need a few days off. Hope we didn't stress her out.”

“I rarely post reviews, and never for restaurants (shame on me), but we had a short notice group of 15 in for lunch in the Sunday-after-church slot, and I was blown away how well everything was handled. They managed to seat us all together, proactively asked about the checks, and had everyone a drink within 10 minutes of arrival. Ordering was smooth, and the food was delivered together with everything still being hot and fresh. Zero errors to boot!Food is always great, but today’s crowd included some self-admitted picky eaters, the “why can’t we just go to Applebees” type, and I heard nothing but good things afterward. Kudos to the Teay’s River staff for such excellent handling of a group on short notice.”

“We went to Mountain Jacks for a birthday dinner. The service was wonderful! I had the prime rib. It was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. The crab stuffed mushrooms were very good as well. For dessert we had the mud pie and it was yummy. I highly recommend Mountain Jacks.”

“Charming little private brewery right in heart of downtown! Great traditional family recipe German beers and a few varietals at times too. Cozy space, but great for friends to share great memories and beers together!”

“There were some problems, but they made it right. I ordered a filet (medium rare) and lobster tail with a Caesar salad. My kids both got sirloin steaks. The salad was late to arrive with our food just a couple minutes behind. The lobster was perfect (but a little tepid by the time it got to me) as were the kids' sirloins. The filet, however, was overcooked and flavorless; the medium rare filet had very little pink and no hint of red. I had to put in a bit of muscle just to cut it--it was chewy. After a couple of bites, I informed the server that it was not up to their standards. He insisted that it was cooked fine but offered to get a manager if I wanted him to. I did. The manager took one look, apologized, and agreed that it was overcooked; he offered to have the kitchen make a new one. It was PERFECT! My kids asked to sample the first filet and spat it out saying that their sirloins had more flavor and tasted better. THANKS FOR MAKING IT RIGHT.”

“Very good traditional Mediterranian and Iraqi food. Mary the server is very nice and welcoming, she makes sure that you are well taken care of and is always willing to help. I hope more people come to visit and see what Chef Malek has to offer, I dont think it will disappoint”

“The food is great. Who doesn't love a thin-crust pizza? Where you don't feel like you're chewing on dough bread all day. The atmosphere is calm, not a lot of noises around, and the service was great.”

“The olive oil with the bread was delicious. I am not sure what they mixed with the oil, but I couldn’t get enough. Abby was our server and she took very good care of us. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the meatballs to the cannoli. I suggest making a reservation.”

“I absolutely love this bar. Highest quality drinks in Lafayette for a pretty affordable price. The atmosphere is nice and the Bartenders are all friendly. I’ve never had better cocktails. I frequent this place very often and am never disappointed! You normally have to wait for seats but it’s worth it”

“Really good food! They’re also quite responsive to customizing the spiciness of the dishes to suit individual preferences. If you like super spicy hot food, you’re in luck because they are not afraid to appease the chili lovers! Make sure to try the vegetable samosas (they’re even great the next day). Curries are on point and the Aloo Gobi is heavenly! Onion naan is soft, delicious and a great accompaniment to any dish.”

He was very personable, made us comfortable, and just all around down to earth. I enjoyed our conversation and he was on par with all of our needs. “It has been years since I had the courage to spend at Red Lobster. I am happy to say they have done a lot to turn themselves around. Matthew was our server and did such an excellent job that I look forward to going back to this particular location again! Good seafood is never cheap but those biscuits and all of the food was done right and well the first time. So well in fact I was asking myself; why make a mess of my own kitchen when they make it this easy? Red Lobster is back! Go ahead, take my money”
