I used to get the tenderloin, then I found the Kansas City. Brisket piled high with onion rings and provolone on a brioche bun. Add their sauces and you have something magical. I use all of the sauces and eat my sandwich over my fries. After my sandwich I have brisket and bbq fries. The fries are amazing on their own. I never leave hungry, plenty of food for the money. Maybe my favorite restaurant ever. The staff, a bunch of great guys. Tip them cash, they deserve it! This isn't fast food.

These guys know how to smoke a brisket. Excellent fresh made sides. Don't forget the various sauces

It's been awhile since I've been there.the service is okay fairly quick and friendly. The food however hasn't stood the test of time. The brisket was a tad dry and the rib tips tasted bland and a little hard on the bone, may have been parboiled first. Definitely not the food I've come to love before COVID.

Got the rib tips and chicken. Super small portions and the rib tips were overly smoked, like chewing on leather. Won't be going back.

It's been a long while since I've eaten here so I decided to drop in for an early lunch. The ambience is the same roadhouse vibe. Unfortunately the blues music has been replaced with a TV. Since my last visit other BBQ joints have opened so comparisons are inevitable. I ordered the Kansas City brisket sandwich that is served with a big fried onion ring and provolone. The price of the sandwich has gone up considerably from what I remember. $18 for my sandwich and one side plus a drink. The brisket tasted OK. There are better tasting options in town. The onion ring was crunchy and the best part of the sandwich. I got baked beans as a side and they are not as good as I remember. They are canned beans with some chunks of smoked sausage added. Maybe my memory is clouded by nostalgia but the meal was not as good as I remember. During the week, it's open only T-F for lunch. Extended hours on Saturday if you want dinner.

Suffice to say I'll be back!

The fact that you guys are selling ribs from the previous day is beyond ridiculous,I just spent about 30 on a rack of ribs, get home too see dryness and a old look I’ve had them fresh here before, but not today after I spent my last few dollars and didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning smh this is crazy you guys lost a good customer!!!!

Not only did I have the WORST bbq I’ve ever had. I think it was the absolute worst restaurant experience I’ve had. (I’m a professional Chef). I’d go into detail m, but there’s literally too much to complain about. Let alone I’m not sure how a heath inspector passed this place. I’m honestly glad I never have to be in the same town ever again as this “bbq joint”. Save your money and just go to City BBQ… I know it’s a corporation but damn. At least you can call it decent.

This place has gone down hill. Pulled chicken, pork, and beef were all watery and had no flavor. Order was delivered wrong.

I used to LOVE this place. It has gone WAY downhill. I will say that the food does taste good. Not great like it used to. You can hardly ever get brisket. The place STINKS. It literally smells like the bathroom and the bathrooms are filthy. The whole place is filthy. I feel like COVID really messed this place up. This place used to be hoping. Now it’s empty. Go to City BBQ.

First the good. The mac and cheese and greens were decent. However, here's the bad. The rib tips were dry and overcooked with no flavor. The chicken was also extremely dry. For the price I paid I was very very disappointed. I was so looking forward to some barbecue, but unfortunately I feel I'm going to have to look outside of Lafayette for now on. The sauce was also underwhelming. Won't be visiting them again
