We stopped to eat and when you walk in you need to use a kiosk to order your food, you then seat yourself, use a QR code to turn on the soda machine to get your own drink, they put your food on the counter and yell your name to come get it, and then you Clean your table. Then they have the audacity to ask for a tip? I mine as well went and cooked my food myself. We aren't from the city so maybe that's just normal but if I'm doing all that there's really no point in going out to eat for the experience.

Steak 'n Shake has really gone down hill in the last few years but this place is the worst. It's the last time I will ever waste money in ANY SnS. First off, I don't want to use their kiosk and have to get a 'coupon' to get a drink. I want to sit down and be waited on, even in a diner. They were unable to make milkshakes for some reason. I didn't care but I saw numerous people walk out because of it. No reason why they couldn't make them, they just couldn't. And the place was filthy. Tables hadn't been wiped off. The drink area was messy. Old baskets were stacked sky high and the garbage hadn't been taken out. The food was nothing but a grease bomb and it looked as though it had been dropped and then tossed onto the wrapper. As we were traveling, I went to the bathroom and actually felt dirtier after I washed my hands than I did before I went in and there were no paper towels to hold the door handle on the way out. The entire experience was disgusting and will never be repeated. Don't go here.

Zero customer service as many have said.Ordered online and it was set to be done 1:30pm. At 1:40 no food and no one stopping to ask I I needed something as I stood at the front counter. I called out for help to multiple people walking around and got ignored or the "1 minute" motion and then walked away.Finally got door 20 after I got in to the restaurant.Food was cold, all of it.I'm giving it 2 stars because I was impressed the burger customization were done correctly.I'm a huge steakn shake fan. When it is warm it is great, so this place is a 1 star not all their restaurants.
