I don’t understand all these people who live in completely different states trying to take down a small business they’ve never been to or heard of, so feel it’s necessary to balance those “opinions” of those who don’t even know the place. We go here about once a week, have tried nearly everything on the menu and have always been impressed. They smoke all their own meats, all sauces and dips are made in house. Service is great and the owner is always there helping run food and asking for feedback on how to make things better. Can’t wait to get back for the best club in town!

The Rueben is amazing, fries are hand cut and so good. Most of their menu is made from scratch (including the meats) and it shows! service was great and the owners are incredibly friendly. Really happy to have this place so close!

This restaurant was awesome. Great, personalized service and they managed to serve 10 of us very quickly. The food was delicious and well priced.Unfortunately it appears people are baselessly rating this establishment one star because a disgruntled former employee (who quit the same day he was hired apparently) is having a temper tantrum on Facebook. It disheartens me to see this because both the people and food here were amazing. Don't let negative reviews from people who have never actually eaten here dissuade you.10/10, absolutely recommend.

The food was really good and the fries were excellent. They only had 1 cook and got 8 meals out faster than most restraunts get 4 meals out.

The last two times I ordered a pastrami sandwich the meat was tough and chewy. Very unappetizing. One of the times they didn’t even have rye bread and it was served on white. I had already decided I wasn’t going to return, but after hearing about the conditions of their kitchen it makes sense why their food was so bad.

Just had a late lunch and the food was so fresh and delicious. Catfish bites were fresh and moist. The crunch on the breading was amazing. The Cuban had so much flavor and was cooked perfectly. Every sauce that came with our meals were homemade and you could tell. Definitely will be back.

Had lunch and it was so good!The fries are awesome and handmade, and the BBQ pork was “real” pulled pork, not out of a container. You can tell the quality of the food is fresh and handmade. Everything our table had was delicious.Our server was super friendly and we will definitely be coming back!

Best burger I've had since moving to Lafayette. Great low key atmosphere, and the staff was fantastic.I got the Western Burger and my wife got the Cranberry Turkey Melt, both were stellar.
Nice neighborhood joint. So glad to see the Parkside lives on. They've done a nice job creating an ambiance on the patio. But that's where the smoker is located, too. So it can heat up quickly if you're seated nearby. Food is basic bar food. They do smoke their own meats. We enjoyed the rueben and the Chipotle peach burger. The onion rings and battered mushrooms were fantastic with a tasty dipping sauce. No threeway license so only beer and wine. But try the wine margarita. Very tasty.

First time trying and wow! Best chicken sandwich around here hands down! Chicken is cooked to perfection. Tender, juicy, and its like 3 lbs! Awesome friendly and fast service. After you try their chicken sandwich you won't want to go anywhere else. Will definitely be returning a lot.
