“I really liked the vibe of this restaurant. Every other restaurant in town was closed, and it's a good thing because I really liked it there and will be returning. The food was great and the portions were big. None of us could finish our meal. The service was awesome. Friendly, approachable staff and a very at-home with family feel. I had a very nice chat with a lady who I assume was the owner about the beautiful carvings on the tables depicting agave farmers and I learned a lot!If you're looking for a nice place to have dinner on a Monday evening in Logansport, I recommend Marilus.“

“My parents and I had dinner here. They went there for their anniversary something like 50 years ago! Still a fantastic place. We had steaks! Delicious, well chosen, ribeye cuts (no chewy parts) and a comparable price point. Atmosphere is great, very bar like on the bar side with music ect. The family dining side is nice but the music bleeds over a little. Not so much you can't have a decent conversation but enough you know it's there. Overall it's a good atmosphere, with great food and great service!Kid-friendliness: Bar on one side and open family dining on the other.Dietary restrictions: Ketogenic - steak, salad, broccoli.“

“Char-Bett's is like many of the "old time" kiosk stores (think Dairy Queen and A&W Root Beer stands). Until recently, they were a cash only enterprise, which is a large part of why I seldom dine there.However, I had some cash this evening and stopped in. There was a young woman that came out to take my order. I didn't get her name, but she brought me a menu and was great when she took my order.The food is very good (in Indiana, comparing pork tenderloins is always ongoing) and didn't take a long time to get.Although there is an upcharge on card use, I will have to stop in more often.“
