“Old school steakhouse. Nice but not overly fancy so you can dress casual. The prices are reasonable for a steakhouse and the food was very good. Steaks cooked and seasoned perfectly. Shrimp dejoung was a great surprise and tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Would go back.“

“Update: we did return to this restaurant and ordered the same sammy as we loved it so much. Picked up the sammy off the plate to find a long black hair! So gross! The waitress came and took the plate back to the kitchen then returned to say nobody on staff has black hair in a very accusatory tone, well guess what, neither do I!!! So, I told her, if that is the case then you did not wash the dishes which is even more disgusting than one of the staff just dropping a hair on the plate accidentally. We both refused to eat that day and have not been back and I'm not sure if we will ever as nobody with blonde hair likes to be accused of dropping a long black hair UNDER the greasy sandwich! So, so gross and totally disrespectful to customers!!!First time here and loved it!! Atmosphere is great, staff is friendly and attentive, which is difficult these days for most places being short-handed (but TOM staff did not disappoint), and FANTASTIC food!! Had the short rib grilled cheese and it was amazing - the meat was cooked perfectly and the flavor combo of the sammy is spot on. I'm definitely returning to try the rest of the menu.“

“My friends and I came here to try the karaoke. Karaoke was great. DJ was friendly and fun. Whiskey sours were damn delish. Bartenders constantly checked on us. Garlic knots were BOMB. Place was packed and we did not feel left out at all. People were friendly. Good place. Would come back again. Park across the street.“

“We were looking for place for our date night that was open a little later since our kids all had late sport events. This was our first time here. As soon as we walked in we were in great spirits as the place has a cozy vibe. That is until we were “greeted” by the hostess. She came out of the front room to stand at her podium and asked if we will be sitting at the bar. When we said we would like a table she reminded us that the kitchen closed at 9. It was 8:45. We asked if we order quickly can we still order food, she didn’t even answer, roller her eyes, grabbed 4 menus, and walked off….we assumed to follow her so we did. She tossed the menus onto the table and then proceeded to the kitchen. We were about to just leave but our sweet waitress assured us that we were welcome to order and that everyone is there until 10 anyway. We ordered as fast as possible getting our order in at 9, our food came out at 9:20, we all ate as fast as possible and were done and paid by 9:35.The waitress saved the experience, the food was awesome! We had 2 orders of the perch, a Shrimp Alfredo, and filet. Everyone ate everything on their plate. Will be back to try again, but that hostess needs an attitude adjustment.“

“Classic small town dive. I'm from Chicagoland, they have authentic Chicago dogs, Italian beef sammiches, and root beer floats. Cheap fries, cheese fries, chili dogs, good pizza(ain't Chicago but it's good sober or not). Wide variety of beverages. Bartender Tina made a really good hot chocolate with whipped cream on a cold, bad night!!NO LIQUOR. Can smoke and vape. Outdoor patio if you want to go outside. Dart games any day, League comes out Wednesday. Pool league, Tuesdays. Pool 75¢. Touchtunes with a new jukebox. Well lit, ambient. Newcomers, remember this is the country. DOG FRIENDLY. So long as your dog loves people or is trained.“

“I didn't order any food when I recently visited Spanky's - a bar and grill located in a small strip mall located at 15213 101st Ave. in Dyer, Indiana. I had a few drinks, served by the very kind bartenders, and really enjoyed the live music with my friends and family! You can smoke in the bar, but it is pretty well venhilated, according to my non-smoking friends. There is a decent sized stage, plenty of space to sit at at the bar or at the tables in front of the stage, and there wasn't a wait for the bathrooms. There were three stalls available in the ladies room, which were clean, and it was nice not having to wait! Prices for the drinks were very reasonable. If music isn't your thing, there were plenty of TV's to watch - showing the news, gameshows, and sports games. I had an awesome time, they had amazing musicians, and I look forward to going back soon!Parking: Because the bar is located within a strip club, parking can be limited. There are signs in front of the businesses that state only customers for that business can park there. There IS free, additional parking located behind the strip mall, though.Kid-friendliness: This is a bar that features adult music. You might just want to leave the children at home with a baby sitter if you're going late!Wheelchair accessibility: There are parking spots for disabled individuals. Those with wheelchairs shouldn't have much trouble navigating the single level bar.“

“A very unique restaurant. We been there a few times last year. So after a bad experience waiting for dinner at Lucrezia Restaurant, I brought my out of town guests here on Friday evening. They were extremely busy. We asked how long the wait was and were advised 10-15 minutes! The hostess greeted us with a smile How refreshing Within less than 10 minutes we were seated. Our waitress was Liz. She welcomed our guests to the restaurant and to Indiana.How inviting that is. We ordered our entrees, drinks. Liz checked in on us several times and asked how everything was. She did so in NOT in an annoying way. She also made sure our drinks and water were full.The food was soooo tasty. It was a very enjoyable time at Station 21.We sat there for almost 45 minutes after we ate. Talking and catching up on old times. Liz smiled and hopefully got to know us. She was an awesome waitress.It's loud here, with TV's and patrons. Yet not overbearing where you could not hear who you were talking to.A great place to go for locals and visitors and tourists alike.The service, the food, and atmosphere is totally wonderful.Highly recommend Station 21 for it's service, food and ambiance.Parking: Several lots owned by Station 21 on their property.“

“The waitress Angelina was awesome! We were a group of 12, and she made sure we had everything we needed and everyone's order was correct. The salad was fresh and crispy vegetables. The lemon rice soup is so good. My husband ordered the Greek porkchops, which he raved about. I ordered the chicken marsala, and it was also delicious. We will definitely be returning and requesting Angelina for our waitress.“
