Have been going to McVeys for years!!! Can't beat their chicken or the perch!!! Love the side dishes of cole slaw and kidney beans... The staff is amazing. Have never been disappointed in the food or service.
Best deal in NWI? The $25 prime rib on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It's a massive cut of meat cooked to perfection and served with sides and warm bread. We dined here for lunch on Friday and the phone was ringing off the hook for reservations. My guess is the prime rib tends to run out early. Old school steakhouse. Nice but not overly fancy so you can dress casual. The prices are reasonable for a steakhouse and the food was very good. Steaks cooked and seasoned perfectly. Shrimp dejoung was a great surprise and tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Would go back.
