Decent burger but would be way better with fresh vs frozen meat. The Bloomington Hinkle's burger is way better because they use fresh beef.

Went here today for the first time in years. It was just as good as I remember and is always worth the wait. The girl who took our order was super friendly and the woman at the grill was working diligently to get everyone’s orders out. It’s always such a treat coming here!

I don't know where this magic place came from, but their slider sized burgers are amazing! They offer home fries as a tasty side dish and it's a great alternative to fries. There is cute counter style seating in one side of the restaurant and the other side has regular table seating. There are two separate entrances and you can't move between the two sides from inside. The restroom is on the side with dining tables and if you're seated at the counter, you have to go outside and in through the other door. You can't hop the counter. We asked. Service was great. The visible kitchen was clean and fun to watch. Loved everything about this place.

My wife and I had dinner here and it was very delicious. I had the triple Burger and my wife had the grilled cheese. We were a little surprised that the hamburger was such a small diameter. But how big a hamburger do you need? And it was very, very good! We had the French fries that were brought to the table piping hot. The service was remarkably fast and the mint shake that my wife got was delectable. Did I mention that the price before tip was only fifteen dollars!

The layout of this place is bizarre. The side that has counter seating has no indoor access to the restroom. Patrons were literally going in and out, in the snow, to use the restroom.The burgers are sliders, you will need more than one. Other than the size, they were tasty.The piece of white fish was so crispy and covered the open-faced bun. The tartar sauce was delicious, I really enjoyed this sandwich.Another bizarre fact is that our food was not all delivered to the table at the same time. I received my potato salad, which I get, salads are usually delivered first, but then the fries and tater tots then about 5 minutes later my fish sandwich and then it was another 4-5 minutes before my fiance got his tiny burger. All the other food was getting cold by then from the door opening so much for people to either arrive or use the bathroom and return to the other side of the restaurant.I wish I could remember our waitresses name, she was a super sweet and bubbly young lady and was very attentive to all her tables. We were there on Friday 2/16.

Hinkles pretty much is a ripoff. They have, done nothing but raise and raise their prices and at the same time, give less. 2.25 for a tiny burger, for a few home fries. 5.29 for two biscuits and gravy, with a tiny dab of fried potatoes. The people working there are more interested in talking to each other or some favorite customer, than good service. Used to be a nice greasy spoon back in the old days, but sadly they're pricing cheap food like it's an upscale restaurant. And don't forget if you EVER tip them they will auto keep all your change ever time, they are rude and don't even ask you! Forgot to say, they'll give favorite customers way more portions and give you half as much, even when your sitting right beside the favorite. Hinkles is not worth it.Now those tiny greasy burgers are 2.05 How anyone can think they're worth it is amazing.
