The food is great, but the people who work there make it exceptional. Niada and her whole team, I mean everyone who works there, is so nice. Terrific family atmosphere. Dine in and enjoy the food AND the people!
Waited a half hour for 8 piece meal. Asked for extra malt vinegar, and when I got home had none. They now have waffle rather than French fries, which are hard and not nearly as good.

Our recent visit to the Merriville location proved to be a disappointment. Despite a significant detour, our order for two 3-piece chicken meals (one with fries and corn, the other with fries and hush puppies) and an additional order of fries was incomplete, as the extra fries were not included.

Long John Silver's offers greasy fried food that may not be for everyone, but the dogs at home seemed to enjoy it. Despite the excessive grease, the staff was accommodating, although a bit slow at the register. The cleanliness inside was noted, but the parking lot was in poor condition. Customers were frustrated by the unexpected cash limit and mistakes in their orders, such as receiving coleslaw instead of corn. Some combos were missing items like chicken or had the wrong sides. Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired, with high prices and room for improvement in customer service and food quality.
