I enjoy McAlisters fresh food and sweet tea. What I didn't care for was the customer service I received because my soup was missing from my order. I placed my order through the mobile app. I picked up my order and went to my car. Before pulling off from the rest, I checked my order. My soup was not in my bag. I went back into the restaurant with my mobile receipt loaded on my phone. I explained to the cashier my soup was missing. Another worker came from the back and stated she knows that the soup was placed in the bag because she bagged my order. I stated to her that in fact the soup was not in the bag. She proceeded to inform me that in the future, a missing item will not be replaced unless the full order is brought back into the restaurant. Her tone was indignant and not appreciated at all! I spent nearly $40 for 2 sandwiches, a sweet tea, and a bowl of soup!

Obviously the food is good! But every time I come here the front service is horrible! They need welcoming staff up there willing to be more kind. They literally act like they hate their job! Your job is to service others. I hate that this is the closest one to me.

Every time I come in I am disappointed in the service. Tonight I watched 3 employees joke around while my food sat waiting to be bagged. Poor service. Definitely no where near the quality and service of the Valpo location.

#1 Waited 20 minutes only to find out my order wasn't even place yet!.#2 Dining area was filty!#3 With NO ONE in the Deli. I waited for 30 minutes, They go my order wrong.NEVER AGAIN, ONE AND DONE !!!

I don't know how this location stays open. The staff is rude, combative and immature. They think it's OK to put hot and cold food in the same container and then leave it on a room temperature shelf waiting for pick up. They say that's how they do things. The last straw was placing a curbside order online and then they have no curbside parking spots. Frustrated, I went in and asked where the heck is the curbside pick up and the employee had no idea what I was talking about. You'd think I was speaking a foreign language from the expression of utter confusion on her face. I just can't eat here ever again with the stupidity going on in this place.

The food is great if they would ACTUALLY deliver what I order. 3 sandwiches in a row that I ordered on separate dates were supposed to have come with a side and not a single one of them came with the side or the selected "free pickle". Just the sandwich and nothing else. On the third time, I called to complain and was told there's nothing they can do other than offer a free drink on my next delivery... Delivery service is some of the worst I've seen. This would be an easy 1 star if the food I DID received wasn't really good.Edit: I contacted the owner of the location and they offered me a free meal as compensation. Much happier now.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Horrible management. Ordered a salad and they made the salad wrong, when I explained what I ordered they wouldn’t remake and didn’t give me anything and told me to leave. They also didn’t refund my money like they said they were going to do.There is no such thing as customer service or making their mistake right at this store.

The food taste pretty good, but they left a piece of paper in my sandwich between the bread and the meat!!! The paper is bigger than the meat slices, and it ruined the bread trying to get off since the breads thin. Hoped they would check for something like that before sending it out…. Thank goodness I didn’t eat it, but yuck.
