“Exquisite Asian fusion cuisine in Merrillville, IN! Asparagus is an absolute gem. We loved everything from the enchanting atmosphere to the charming decor and the impeccable service. The food was definitely not comparable to most places that we've eaten at. Every dish we tried was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The Tom Yum soup was a delightful balance of sweet, sour, and spicy, while the rest of the dishes like Sea bass, red snapper, seafood crispy rolls, asparagus salad, lemongrass beef appetizer, baked oysters, and ribs had just the right amount of spice to tantalize our taste buds. Don't miss out on their Thai iced tea and special bread pudding for dessert - it's heavenly! Asparagus has definitely become our go-to spot for Asian fusion cuisine. Five stars all the way!“

“Stopped in at this little place while I was in town. Heard good things about it, so I thought, why not. I’ve read plenty of reviews about “large portions”, but that’s usually for folks who eat like a bird. Ordered the “Hearty Boy Combo” with a full order instead of a half. When that little girl brought out the food, I had to make sure it was mine. I swear, there was enough food for three or four people. Mind you, this was for $12.50. The biscuits were gigantic, the gravy had tons of sausage in it, the eggs were perfect, and there was like three orders of hash browns nestled on this plate with hockey puck sized sausage patties. Now mind you, this place was packed on a Saturday morning, and the food was out to my table in under 10 minutes. The coffee was strong enough to put hair on your chest. All I can say is that when I left, I was uncomfortably full. There was just so much food. It never seemed to end. If you come here and leave hungry, you need to order better, or see a doctor. Definitely the place to stop when you’re in the US30 corridor.“

“When you pull up with no one in the parking lot you thinking this can't good. You just had a wonderful weekend with good food and your on the way home. You think here's the shoe that drops...... nope Thanksgiving in February at your favorite aunties house. I had greens black eyed peas with rice, sweet potatoes, dressing, fried chicken and oven baked ribs that was made to perfection. I almost didn't eat there, it was very clean and from the moment we got there we were made to feel like we arrived at home and mom had cooked. Peach cobbler is a must for dessert. I salute my fellow veteran for making a restaurant with recreating what most military crave a home cooked meal.Dietary restrictions: They season middle of the road. Hot sauce on my greens and sweet potatoes. I didn't salt or pepper anything.“

“Ordered the "Some like it hot burger". The Beef patty was very well seasoned with a good amount of spice. Bacon paired well on top and was nice and crispy, but not overdone and crunchy. The tater tots were also crispy and seasoned well, but the amount they give you seems very small for a meal of that price. Could definitely use another handful! Burger meal w/ tots was $15 A lot of the menu items sound very good and I'll be coming back to try some. Staff was friendly+fast and place was clean“

“I absolutely love these tacos ?❤️ The first time I tried them was on a Tuesday (Taco Tuesday) which tacos are only $2 that day. I ended up ordering 2 chicken, 2 beef and 2 steak tacos. 1 soft shell and 1 hard shell of each kind of meat. To my surprise they were all delicious ? My favorite kind was the hard shell chicken taco ? I'll definitely be back on Tuesday's (more tacos for the money)“
