“I have never been to the Merrillville location. We had a large party of 14. The prices on the lunch menu are very reasonable in today's economy. Food was great, I ordered filet mignon, steak was very tender and tasted wonderful. Our chef was talented and very professional, the service was great..I loved this place.“
“This was probably my best BC experience of all time so they get a 4 star for this one. Literally everything was cooked perfectly. I wish they would put more effort/flavor into their friend rice and lo mein or it would have totally been a 5 star experience. The fried fish and broiled fish were perfect and OMG the crayfish were HUGE and perfectly cooked. The next batch came out smaller so I felt lucky to have gotten the big ones. Usually they're small and overcooked and not worth the effort. If they were always as large as the ones I had I'd go more often just for those. The hibachi chef cooked my steaks(a dinner option) perfectly. The fried wings and crab Rangoon always hit the spot. Like I said..it's usually like a 3.5 star experience..you go just for a variety and to fill up..but this time was really freaking good.“
“I was expecting hibachi/sushi made in the back, and not in a Mongolian BBQ-style restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise. Sodas are the most inexpensive at $1.99/each (unlimited refills). Would visit again when in the area.Parking: Busy street with diagonal parking. Mentioned there was a parking lot in the back.“
“Always wonderful service and food. The sparkling jelly sake is amazing if you want to try something new. I get the sashimi sampler, yellowtail with jalapeño, and black jet roll almost every single time I go. I've never had a bad time dining here.“
“For the Midwest this is a pretty decent place to get some good Asian food. It's a small hole in the wall but has quite a bit to choose from on the menu. The food is really good, it's not the best Asian food I've had but it definitely still has those staple items on the menu and they do it right. Lots of sushi to choose from as well as other entrees. Great for take out. The staff was really nice and fast, they knew what they were doing and got it done quick. Great service. As for the atmosphere, it's small yet quaint. Very clean and organized and plenty of room for inside seating. Loved the decorations. Food - 4 Staff - 4 Atmosphere - 4“
