Scartozzi's Trattoria Reviews
I had your chicken Marsala last night and the sauce was beautiful and delicious! Thank you!
We had take out tonight for Scartozzi’s for the first time and to say that we were satisfied is an understatement. I was very impressed with the quality, taste, and portions of our food. We tried the chicken alfredo, one with fetuccini and one with bowtie pasta and both were beyond delicious; the cripsy chicken cutlet on top was perfectly cooked and so crispy and juicy and the bread that comes with the pasta is a DREAM. The caesar salad was phenomenal- the dressing and croutons...read full review
All the years my wife and I have visited this area, we've never tried this place...until today! I had to try their Italian beef sammich. It was absolutely amazing. Great ciabatta style roll to withstand the ton of juicy Italian beef they pack onto this sandwich. It's the real deal. It was served up fast and we got to chat with the owners. Super nice people! We'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu. Do not pass this spot by. We'll done!

Scartozzi's Trattoria is a charming carry-out establishment in Michigan City that offers authentic Italian cuisine with a personal touch. The staff is polite and friendly, making the experience feel genuine and personable. The food is securely packaged in catering-style trays, keeping it warm and intact, and is priced fairly with generous portions. The menu features a range of dishes, including Garlic Cheese Bread, Caesar Salad, Caprese Salad, Baked Penne al Forno, Baked Stuffed Jumbo Shells, and Tortellini Della Famiglia, all made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The trattoria also offers delicious vegetarian options, such as eggplant lasagna and an angelhair pasta dish. The Chicken Parm was better than Rosebud’s in IL. The lasagna, came with two pieces of homemade bread, the spices and flavors in the Lasagna, just really elevated this dish. Eggplant Parmesan came with a side penne and tomato sauce and nice side bread. The Tiramisu had good coffee and nice layering. Overall, Scartozzi's Trattoria provides a wonderful dining experience that is almost as good as eating in a restaurant, making it a gem for anyone looking for authentic Italian takeout.
