“Great atmosphere . Enjoyed watching the Bears ? football game. 2 thumbs up ? ? Looking forward to going back ??Parking: Ample parkingWheelchair accessibility: I have a close friend in a wheelchair and was very easy for him to maneuver throughout the place“
“This place is truly a gem in the south suburbs! If you're not local it's worth the drive. Really a fun place to enjoy delicious food, great drinks, and excellent music! The owners and staff are friendly, welcoming, and attentive. If the eclectic decor could speak, I'm sure it'd have some epic stories to tell! If you're looking to have a good time in a cool spot, this place will check all the boxes!“
“Another great spot near Hammond Marina! Genuinely friendly service & hospitality- Serbian style! Old-school, charming atmosphere. Good food & drinks. An unexpected treat! You should definitely check out this spot if you are in the area. I will definitely be back.“
“Really a hidden gem. Everything is excellent. Limited hours and limited days open are really the only downside here. I'd recommend making a reservation in advance, but they are very accommodating if they have room. Good value for the service and quality, but not "cheap". Had the surf and turf this time, and the lobster was great. Something on the menu for everyone.“
“Been to Greg's twice now, once for a band and recently for a Street Magician show! We came as a large group- almost 20 of us! The folks there accomodated us fantastically! I don't recall the whole menu, but seemed to be a standard bar menu plus*. I had a perch dinner that was well-prepared and everyone else seemed satisfied with their meals. I wouldn't hesitate to stop in for entertainment and plan a meal with it.“
“It was my first visit and I must say it actually exceeded my expectations. It really is your typical neighborhood bar/restaurant. Food portions were generous and the prices extremely Fair. Well it was Friday and we decided to have the Lake Perch, people were talking about how good the chicken was so I intend to go back and try it. We came over from Munster Indiana so it was definitely a little bit out of the way but certainly enjoyable and worth the trip. Met the owner who also seem like a very nice fellow.“
“Was pleasantly surprised by this place. Random choice to celebrate with Alumni for a small Birthday gathering. Set at bar, delicious food and great staffParking: Street parking is great. This place is actually on the corner of a residential street“
“This place is awesome. Good drinks and atmosphere. Kitchen wasn’t open yet, so you can bring in food and they had menus for all the neighboring restaurants. Nice enclosed outdoor area as well for seating. I stopped here off the bike trail and would definitely make it a regular stop.“
“I didn't order any food when I recently visited Spanky's - a bar and grill located in a small strip mall located at 15213 101st Ave. in Dyer, Indiana. I had a few drinks, served by the very kind bartenders, and really enjoyed the live music with my friends and family! You can smoke in the bar, but it is pretty well venhilated, according to my non-smoking friends. There is a decent sized stage, plenty of space to sit at at the bar or at the tables in front of the stage, and there wasn't a wait for the bathrooms. There were three stalls available in the ladies room, which were clean, and it was nice not having to wait! Prices for the drinks were very reasonable. If music isn't your thing, there were plenty of TV's to watch - showing the news, gameshows, and sports games. I had an awesome time, they had amazing musicians, and I look forward to going back soon!Parking: Because the bar is located within a strip club, parking can be limited. There are signs in front of the businesses that state only customers for that business can park there. There IS free, additional parking located behind the strip mall, though.Kid-friendliness: This is a bar that features adult music. You might just want to leave the children at home with a baby sitter if you're going late!Wheelchair accessibility: There are parking spots for disabled individuals. Those with wheelchairs shouldn't have much trouble navigating the single level bar.“
“I ordered an Italian Beef with fries, a side of cheese sauce, and coleslaw... Everything was amazing and it was delivered quickly. I also visit the bar and always have an excellent time and service from all the bartenders! This is my favorite place.“
“First time coming here with one of my good friend. She's been here plenty of times. I had a bacon, cheeseburger and fries. And to be completely honest it was unbelievably good!!! The buns are toasted with butter and have an amazing crunch to the edges.I loved it!! Ice cold beer and and a very Good bartender!! She was very attentive. We went on march 29th. Around one o'clock in the afternoon. So whoever was bartending that day she was phenomenal!!! I don't live in the area.My friend lives in dyer. But when I visit her again we will definitely be back!!“
“When there is a party going on It is hard to get a drink at the bar. It's kind of small in there but nice atmosphere. I didn't rate the food because I didn't have anything to eat. Parking is always scarce they have a very small lot.“
“We were told by several people to go to Flat Rock and have one of their burgers. It was one of the best burgers I have had in that area. Saturday special is a burger and side for $6.50. The hand cut fries are my wife's favorite.Bartender was great, my beer never went empty.“
“Bottoms Up Bar & Grill - located at 1969 Thornton-Lansing Rd. right at the corner of Stoney Island Ave., in Lansing, Illinois, 60438 is the place to hit up every Wednesday night at 7pm for their Open Mic Nights - run by Kerri Mott and his crew - drinks served by friendly staff, and to pick up some tasty food. There's plenty of parking, friendly faces, chances to play music, dance and enjoy music, as well. Come check the place out for yourself. You will not be disappointed - nor do you have to only choose from beer or wine on a Wednesday!Parking: There is plenty of parking. Please do not drive home drunk!Kid-friendliness: This is a bar - not a place for children - however, if you come in early enough, you'll find the staff will kindly accommodate minors with their parents who are looking for something good to eat!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp so wheelchairs are able to access the tavern as well as wheelchair friendly tables!“
“I have traveled as far south as the Mexican peninsula and as far north as the Canadian Yucatan...and decided it was time to try food in my backyard. In terms of seating, for a small bar, SmallWorld has ample seating whether at the bar, tables in the back, or tables outside. There are big screens on every wall so you won't miss the action of local or national sports. Most importantly, I cam for Taco Tuesday and it's not over exaggeration to say the tacos are the best hardshell around. They were reasonably priced and did the job when it came to filling me up with good food. The only grips with my visit is that there were only two bartenders who had to play waitress as well for a bar full of maybe 40 people so that made service slow (but they kept a positive attitude)“
“OMG ! This place is AMAZING !!??Very welcoming , BURGERS ? ? FOOD ?, service, EVERYTHING! It’s the greatest! Servers are very nice . And they know all the menu. So if you don’t know what to get , they are great to tellYou what is best !“
“I enjoy myself every time I come here. So after work I decided to come and try the Soul Food Sunday Dinner promotion!! Baby!!! I felt the spirit of the ancestors all over this meal. 10/10 for aure!!! Its always fresh and not over seasoned. Truth I've had several Amazing dishes here and I will always return for some good food options!!!“
“I absolutely love the bartender that is always there when i go. She is the sweetest person I have ever come across. I do wish they had at least one more bartender working on busy nights. I hate to see such a hard working woman stress out over getting a bar full a people drinks. If there was just one more person with her it would help a lot!!“
“Came into town for a wedding and ducked in here before checking into hotel. The bloody mary spot on. Service friendly and attentive. Establishment looked clean. We didn't eat, but people around us ordered everything looked delish. Would be happy to come back here the next time we're in town.“
