“This was our first time at Outcast, and we were NOT disappointed. The atmosphere was casual and stylish, everyone we encountered was super friendly, and our food was AMAZING! Mia and Rachel provided great service; our food came out quickly, was hot, and seasoned to perfection. We will definitely go back and have no hesitation recommending Outcast to others.”

“My boyfriend and I drive out of town about 40 minutes because this is our absolute favorite spot! The ambiance is wonderful, service is always nothing but great, and the fish is DELICIOUS!! The freshest sushi I’ve ever tasted in the area. The escolar is always a go to. I happily spend a decent amount here and take a roll home as well. Charlie has always been our server, by coincidence but he is always on top of it!! I can tell this business has a great team by how well everything comes out. Servers don’t auction off items, everyone is super polite, food comes out in a timely manner. I’ve been coming here for years and have consistently seen, for the most part, the same servers and that says A LOT in the service industry! Keep doing you guys!”

“Great butcher shop, was able to get a cut of meat here that I have not been able to find anywhere else in southern Indiana or Louisville. It is a flat iron steak but not separated out into individual steaks. I got the whole cut and cooked it like a Texas style Brisket. Turned out great. Also if you are in the store, do yourself a favor and try some boudin balls.”

“We ate at Mimo’s for the first time tonight. We were seated by the man himself. The place is cozy and authentic. We were served complimentary delicious warm bread knots with marinara dipping sauce and my gosh, are they amazing. Warm, fresh baked and just enough garlic. Grabbed calamari for our appetizer. It was cooked well and served with marinara. We ordered the large cheese pizza for the teenager, baked sausage ziti and linguini alfredo. We finished off with the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. EVERYTHING was perfection. Authentic, delicious and filling. Mimo, is kind, funny and a master at his craft. Please go visit this lovely locally owned spot. You’ll leave full and happy (from the food and Mimo cutting up with you).”

“Attended the Old Forester Legendary Bourbon Series event last week hosted at The Root by The Earl. What an amazing job The Earl team did organizing this tasting! Having Jackie Zykan leading us through the tasting of these amazing bourbons was the best! Mara is a rockstar. Scott Dickinson, Chef of 1816 in Corydon prepared wonderful dishes to pair with the bourbon. One of the best bourbon tastings I’ve ever attended. ????????”

He helped me secure the amazing skull glasses that I wanted to bring home by taking my side in my Valentine's Day argument with my husband. But truly, hands down, he was one of the best waiters we ever had!! The tacos were amazing! So many incredible combinations and the flight option allowed us to try multiple combos. The Filthy Fajita and the Gangsta were really good. And the margaritas were to die for. Highly, highly recommend! And make sure to ask for Jeremy! He will take amazing care of you!!”

“My husband stopped in on the 23rd, to grab a couple desserts for Christmas. They have so many options, it made it hard to decide which to go with… so we got two. Ultimately, we ended up going with a peanut butter pie, and a raspberry cheesecake. They were both amazing, but the peanut butter pie is some of the best I have EVER had, and we love peanut butter pie. I wasn’t there at the ordering,/pick up, but he said whoever helped him was super nice. Def going to Check them out again soon, and try some other things!”

“Once again Legacy was amazing. I ordered something new tonight and it didn't disappoint. If you like pineapple on your pizza the Hurricane is for you. The pineapple was sweet and the red onions and pepperdews balanced it out beautifully. And as always the pistachio cannoli was outstanding!!!”

Service was incredibly kind, passionate, and personal, and didn’t feel corporate like other restaurants. Prices are very accessible, but with much better quality than other restaurants. Would come again, and again, and again.

“Don’t be sleeping on Aladdin's Mediterranean / Middle Eastern Cuisine located in downtown New Albany. Admittedly, it had been like 8 years since I have last patronized, which I regret! It was very delicious! Price point good. Portions were big. Friendly service and didn’t take long to get our food, despite it being Friday night. the Aladdin’s Steak Sandwich and it was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly! I was full after eating only the sandwich. We also had the gyro bowl, the lamb melted in your mouth and the rice texture was on point. Not under/over cooked, not gummy. Even if you are unsure about liking this type of cuisine, just give it a try. I will be going back very soon. They seemed to have a pretty steady carryout line, so that’s always an option too! 10/10 recommend!”

“I finally get to visit this place after a while. They did get my attention when I posted the Friday Fish Day.

I love their location, and it does feel right. I love all of their decorations since it was unquie.

They have a good selection of beers, and I love how they have Guinness beers include and also local breweries too. I looked over the menu. They have great choice. I was impressed with their curried that made me want to try, which I would come back.

This time, I ordered samoas, which i never had it. It was so delicious and I love the sauce! Also, I ordered fish and chip. This fish and chips does remind me of my visit in Dublin, Ireland, which i miss it so much.

I truly appreciate how the people work there keep check on me. I truly appreciate it.

“I love this place, and I love their black lavender tea! However, the most frustrating thing about this place is that they are ALWAYS out of something specifically, the black lavender. I’m sure it’s a very popular drink. But there’s been times where they’re out for weeks at a time. I gave it time thinking it was from the new startup since they had just opened a little while ago, and had moved their other store recently. However, it is still happening.

I don’t know anything about what’s happening behind the scenes, so it could be a supply thing versus being the actual store itself.

Overall, the staff is quite kind. They always serve with a smile on their faces. Inside is quite casual and relaxing. The drinks are amazing when they’re actually in stock.”

I was not greeted. I stood there waiting at the counter for about five minutes. They were busy, but no one even looked at me. They intentionally ignored me. I walked out walked in. Waited some more then got greeted then got service. Food was exactly as expected great.
They did not call out my order to let me know when it was ready. Just a little disappointing as locally they have a good name these are reasons why someone may not come back.”

I was like really long story short i didnt pk up my food due to no time given to pk up and she never asked my name and was real short. “One of the items I got from there today was a large strawberry milkshake. The milkshake was literally sour. I spoke with Makayla Bishop. She said she put my name down for a free large milkshake, but said that was the only option. She was friendly about it, but I could not imagine serving someone a sour milkshake, and telling them the only option was to try another one of our milkshakes. I think if I buy a soured milkshake from your company, and I want my money back, because I will never buy another milkshake there again, I should have that option. She did say that she made the milkshakes fresh today. but that doesn't mean that it wasn't sour. This is a really poor business practice, especially for a two-star restaurant. You need to start listening to your customers. I think she handled it the best she could. but there are obviously unethical people telling her they can't give money back, even if they are served inferior products. Due to your unethical policy, I will be reporting this incident to the health department. You really think I want a free milkshake? I came for good service, not replacement food. y You policy suggests that you think you are doing someone a favor by replacing dangerous food that you serve. I only visited, because my son wanted a milkshake, and now he said he will never want to go there again either.”

“I've done takeout from here a few times but finally decided to done in on one of my off days. The chips, salsa, and queso were all good and pretty much what you would expect from just about anywhere.

I got the tacos al pastor, and to say these tacos were some of the best I've ever had would not be an overstatement. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the toppings were perfect, and three tacos were enough to fill me up. The sauce that came with it was divine!

The service was great as well. I got drink refills in a very timely manner, and everyone was very polite.”

“I spent about three years hearing about how good this place is before I visited it. With that in mind, I went in thinking there was no way it could meet the lofty expectations thrust upon it by my friends and family. I was right.Somehow this place managed to exceed all of my expectations. From the delightful and attentive server, to the delicious food as pictured here. Visiting America is always a journey for my stomach, and Tumbleweed was my favourite food stop on this trip. The environment doesn't immediately give off cozy vibes, but once seated it's easy to feel like you're the only table in the room.If I could give the service more than five stars, I would. My glass was never empty, and he never came around in that awkward phase right after you take a bite which was very nice. The chips and queso make for an warm up session for the meal. Overall, I am very much looking forward to returning here again, and making it a regular spot for myself and everyone I can drag there with me.

Kid-friendliness: The inclusion of a kids menu is a wonderful touch, and kept ours entertained throughout the whole meal. The staff were very nice to her as well.”
