“Don’t be sleeping on Aladdin's Mediterranean / Middle Eastern Cuisine located in downtown New Albany. Admittedly, it had been like 8 years since I have last patronized, which I regret! It was very delicious! Price point good. Portions were big. Friendly service and didn’t take long to get our food, despite it being Friday night. the Aladdin’s Steak Sandwich and it was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly! I was full after eating only the sandwich. We also had the gyro bowl, the lamb melted in your mouth and the rice texture was on point. Not under/over cooked, not gummy. Even if you are unsure about liking this type of cuisine, just give it a try. I will be going back very soon. They seemed to have a pretty steady carryout line, so that’s always an option too! 10/10 recommend!”

“The Earl is one of those rare places that hits the sweet spot between dive bar and craft beer hangout, without trying too hard. In the middle of downtown New Albany, it’s got a industrial interior with brick walls, rough hardwood floors, and exposed beams, that still manages to feel warm and personal, im sure helped by the Bill Murray mural and fridge shrine dedicated to him. It’s weird, it’s charming, and it totally works.

Their rotating lineup of local and regional craft beers is always on point. You’ll find something familiar like Country Boy, but also a few wildcards you’ve never seen before. It’s perfect for after work or a laid-back late night drink.

On a personal note, this is where I first told my girlfriend, now wife, that I was falling in love with her. So yeah, for all the cool beers and eccentric charm, and even Bill Murray, I can personally attest that The Earl is also the kind of place where memories are made and actually stick. Can’t recommend it enough!”

“My wife Brittany and I stopped in on May 10. The restaurant was packed with only a few seats at the bar. It looked like the hot spot for pre prom dinner. The waitresses were working their tails off trying to keep up and we were very patient. Boy did that patience pay off. Sarah was finally able to ask what drinks we would like. I teased her that water would be great if we ever get it. lol. Sarah immediately new we were kidding and fired back with a little sarcasm of her own. She was wonderful the entire. Sarah brought our bread out. It was very good, but the sauce for dipping was the highlite. Sarah made some recommendations, as we were first time diners. I had chicken parm and my wife ordered eggplant parm. We loved both dishes. Great attention to detail was taken in preparation and appearance. It looked better than any food I have ever seen pictured in a menu, and tasted even better. We followed dinner with chocolate cake and a raspberry sauce that still makes our mouths water. It was so food, we ordered more to take back to the hotel. I would say it is the best little spot in New Albany! Sarah's service and playful personality was the best part of our evening. “Came here at the last minute before returning home and had the BEST BBQ Sandwich and amazing fries ever!! The Zombi Kombi beer was a great addition to the lunch. “I finally get to visit this place after a while. They did get my attention when I posted the Friday Fish Day.

I love their location, and it does feel right. I love all of their decorations since it was unquie.

They have a good selection of beers, and I love how they have Guinness beers include and also local breweries too. I looked over the menu. They have great choice. I was impressed with their curried that made me want to try, which I would come back.

This time, I ordered samoas, which i never had it. It was so delicious and I love the sauce! Also, I ordered fish and chip. This fish and chips does remind me of my visit in Dublin, Ireland, which i miss it so much.

I truly appreciate how the people work there keep check on me. I truly appreciate it.

From the moment we sat down to the moment sorry we left this man treated us as if he has known as all of our lives like family. “Heine Bros State Street has a very special place in my heart. I have been going there for years, and the last couple I go almost every morning on my to work. Even when the line is wrapped around the building I always get to work on time! The baristas are kind, efficient and so personable. They know my order and most of the time I don’t even have to say it they just know me ☺️and they even learned how to spell my name! I genuinely feel like a valued person when I go there, and I hope the baristas know how much I appreciate them making me feel like not just a customer but also a friend. I can’t recommend this store enough!”

“I love this place, and I love their black lavender tea! However, the most frustrating thing about this place is that they are ALWAYS out of something specifically, the black lavender. I’m sure it’s a very popular drink. But there’s been times where they’re out for weeks at a time. I gave it time thinking it was from the new startup since they had just opened a little while ago, and had moved their other store recently. However, it is still happening.

I don’t know anything about what’s happening behind the scenes, so it could be a supply thing versus being the actual store itself.

Overall, the staff is quite kind. They always serve with a smile on their faces. Inside is quite casual and relaxing. The drinks are amazing when they’re actually in stock.”

“I've lived in the area for over 30 years. I only go to 2 Chinese restaurants The Great Wall in Louisville & Hing Wang in New Albany. I don't care where I am I will drive an hour out of my way to eat at either of these Chinese restaurants. They are incredible! Everything on the menu is spectacular! You can't go wrong! My favorite thing about both restaurants is they have Water Chestnuts and those are a must have in any meal I order. 100% delicious!”

“One of the items I got from there today was a large strawberry milkshake. The milkshake was literally sour. I spoke with Makayla Bishop. She said she put my name down for a free large milkshake, but said that was the only option. She was friendly about it, but I could not imagine serving someone a sour milkshake, and telling them the only option was to try another one of our milkshakes. I think if I buy a soured milkshake from your company, and I want my money back, because I will never buy another milkshake there again, I should have that option. She did say that she made the milkshakes fresh today. but that doesn't mean that it wasn't sour. This is a really poor business practice, especially for a two-star restaurant. You need to start listening to your customers. I think she handled it the best she could. but there are obviously unethical people telling her they can't give money back, even if they are served inferior products. Due to your unethical policy, I will be reporting this incident to the health department. You really think I want a free milkshake? I came for good service, not replacement food. y You policy suggests that you think you are doing someone a favor by replacing dangerous food that you serve. I only visited, because my son wanted a milkshake, and now he said he will never want to go there again either.”

“I love both Pizza King locations, but I do prefer the Jeffersonville location. It's smaller, usually less crowded since it doesn't have a train side, and the staff is very friendly. I love their pizza, it's my favorite place to eat! The only downside is the fact they are closed on Mondays.”

I live 2 hours away now so I dint get to visit aa much as I would like . It was nice to enjoy a great pizza with my mother while I was in town .”

“We usually have the same server and she is always on top of everything, keeping our drinks, chips & salsa refilled at all times. She gets my baby a high chair and applesauce to eat, crayons to color with before our food ever arrives which is so nice! Food always arrives quickly and so far every dish I’ve tried here is packed with so much fresh flavor. I have tried the white chicken chili with jalapeño cornbread, the chimichanga with rice & beans, the Tex Mex Melt with seasoned waffle fries and literally everything from the side of rice to the seasoned ground beef is so flavorful and absolutely delicious! When I go to Mexican restaurants that are not Tex Mex, they just don’t have the great flavors as they do here at Tumbleweed. Or only one or two things are good and everything else is bland tasting. But not here at tumbleweed. It doesn’t matter what you get, it’s all full of flavors!”
