This adamantly old-school Kroger is underrated! It's clearly on the smaller side and doesn't have the robust variety of the renovated State St location, but it works when you need the essentials. The throwback decor and friendly staff give it a wholesome feel that, yeaaaah, you'd never find at the kangaroo court of a Walmart down the street. This Kroger served me well in my IU Southeast days and I'd still recommend it to those passing through the neighborhood.

Same young employee is always in the restroom, when he comes out the sink is dry he did not wash his hands did not flush the toilet every time. This is disgusting he needs to grow up.

Good place to open a real store. Probably a good one to CLOSE ALL TOGETHER. After 830 employees sit around and we do there work. Only register open self checkout. And manager looked stoned at 9 pm

They close at midnight. With that in mind, don't rush to get the tree by 11:45. They will tell you they are closed.

On several occasions, I've gone to this store at 1030pm *they're open until 11pm* to grab a few items.

Is there a reason why the Pharmacy staff has no customer service training, because THEY NEED IT BADLY!! Literally some of the rudest people in customer service I’ve ever came across. Not a good look. Also the Pharmacy staff is very, very slow and just give vague responses when you ask for an update on your prescription and when it will be done. They don’t care if you’re waiting for your prescription or if you live an hour away, they don’t care, they work as slow as possible. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LEARN TO PRIORITIZE!

I like the store but do not like the pharmacy. I went to the pharmacy at the Grant line store on 10/25 to get a prescription filled. The pharmacy assistant in the white coat refused to fill the prescription. I say assistant b/c she seemed to young and unprofessional to be a pharmacist. She wasn't just the person at the register. She was apparently in charge. Anyway, my prescription was from a medical clinic located inside the U of L Dental School. I work there. At firs

This review is for the pharmacy. It used to have a page on Yelp full of negative reviews. That has disappeared. Here's my review. At first the assistant said they don't fill Dental prescriptions. Then she claimed the nurse practitioner wasn't licensed to write prescriptions in Indiana. It was ridiculous. She didn't even bother to look at the prescription. She was obviously making stuff up and seemed to enjoy being difficult. I was too tired and sick to argue so I had to wait until the next day for the Target pharmacy. I'm filing a formal complaint with the Indiana Board Of Pharmacies. This girl is too immature and unprofessional to work in a pharmacy.

I’m currently on a feeding tube & rely on their pharmacy for all my prescription needs. They fill them monthly for convenience & always find the lowest prices for me. The pharmacist is always willing to explain the meds if necessary. They offer counter pickup or drive thru for convenience.

Kroger is your typical giant supermarket. It's a great place if you want to get everything possible all in one stop. The prices are fine. You'll find some items cheaper at other places and some you won't. For me, a grocery store is all about location. This store is not the one closest to me, so it's not my primary grocery store. If it were, it would be. But unless I move, it's just not going to snag the gold medal.

3.5 stars, rounded up. This Kroger is an old school smaller one from days gone by. It's the size of a grocery that many of us were accustomed to for many years, before everything became super-sized, with gargantuan inventories and endless selections. That is either a good or bad thing, depending on your preferences. On most days, I like the big selections offered at the big Kroger stores, like the one on State Street in New Albany and the one in Clarksville. However, for quick trips, it's nice to walk into a smaller store like this. You can be in and out faster and with much more ease. This store has always had pretty good service on my visits. It's also been clean. No negatives here, so long as you're not looking for huge grocery with a huge selection. They have the basics, plus some. Located next to Feeders Supply on Grant Line Road. Like taking a step back in time, which isn't a bad thing in my book.

Had perscriptions to be filled and they had them ready to go pretty fast! Always treat me good there!

I just have to start off by saying NEVER let Von touch a single one of your prescriptions. I always use the State Street pharmacy. Well, when I went to pick up my medicine she said it wasn't there and we had called and had it filled at Grant Line. Then, calls us liars saying we never even dropped it off. After that I called to get a refill on my refill date and she is at Grant line working!! She tells me it's not due and im early. She lies to me about what a head pharmacist says and when my dr calls to cancel my prescription she lies to them to!! I have never been so mad in my life!! Guess what though, karma sucks and she'll get hers! Don't ever go where she is at!!
