“I think we had a server who along with our table of three had a table of 9 and then helped a group of 30+ later on . Sat around for 15-20 min until she came back up to get drink and good order ( said she would be right back ) Drinks, 2 waters and lemonade , took 10 -15 min to be brought to table and she forgot the beer I ordered . I had to remind another server , who brought it out 5 min later(2 min before the food arrived) . I never finished the beer ! Then one of our burgers was ordered correctly but delivered wrong ; we decided to eat it rather than wait for it to be remade. Food was awesome but disappointed with the server on this visit“

The Hideaway at the LaSalle Bar • $$

“A little (word used intentionally) gem of a pun. The landlord stopped for a chat despite the place being packed for the Thursday night local Irish musicians jam. I counted five fiddles, six wind instruments and string instrument I did not recognize and two of the Irish drums held on the left hand. Quite the blast. Only thing that would have improved the place was a decent IPA, but I'm from Seattle so spoiled in that regard.“

We had some delicious appetizer it was a peice of toast (crostini) with cheese and a tomato! And their bailey's with coffee and heavy cream on top, just perfect! They have a puppet shows there!!! “We were in town for a Notre Dame football game and decided to check out CJ's. We had a great time and CJ's was exactly what we needed. The beer was cold, the prices extremely reasonably. The atmosphere was dope with photos of ex players everywhere. Plenty of tv's to watch other games. The service was good, stuff arrived to the table quickly. Definitely worth checking out if in town.“
