The customer service was on point, absolutely lovely. Then on top of that, our food was PERFECT. Usually with custom orders I don’t expect it to be perfect, however they made it exactly as requested. 10/10 absolutely

Every other HotBox is amazing but this one can't seem to get their deliveries right. Never received my order and when called I was told it was delivered even though I was in my home the whole time

We love Hot Box Pizza, but this particular Hot Box should not take delivery orders if they can't fill them in a reasonable amount of time. I understand that Saturdays are busy pizza nights and we are generally patient people, but the last two times I have ordered delivery from this restaurant, the pizza has been hours late. Not just two hours after the time I ordered the pizza, but two hours later than the quoted delivery time. Both times I called at the 45-1 hour late mark and been assured "it's on its way." This time, 40 minutes after phone call and still no pizza. We won't be ordering from this store anymore.

Waited almost 40 minutes for a pizza. Whole restaurant got served before my family and some of the families even noticed. Meanwhile, the cashier wandered around through the kitchen, joking with the cooks. The line of people built up and then got bored waiting for her to return to the register. We could all see her. The cooks briefly argued over whether they had cooked some orders. I asked the cashier at the 30 minute mark where my food was and she said it was the next one, then served 5 more pizzas. Eventually one of the cooks came out and asked who I was, then produced my order immediately. 0 apologies from anyone. Tables were all dirty and restroom was disgusting. Only reason it's not 1 star is the pizza was good and somehow warm.

Owner is passionate about his business. Had a billing issue that manager was unable to provide solution and owner stepping in to make it right. Still concerned with parking to get pickup orders quickly.

Had a blast eating here. The food was not only some of the best pizza I've ever had, but the staff and service were out of this world. We ordered two of their specialty pizzas which were the ballsagna and the party fowl. Both were incredibly good pizzas. We came in to pick up our order and decided to get their special edition cups and the employee only charged us for 1 of the 2 of them. When we got back to the hotel, we noticed they also threw in an entire extra order of bread sticks on the house. The restaurant itself was cozy and felt like a small hometown pizza joint, not some large pizza chain. It's such a great place and I couldn't recommend them enough.

First of all the lady made our pizza without any gloves on!2• the pizza wasn’t that good.3•We had hair on our pizza so we asked for our money back.4•The bread sticks wasn’t done.I’ve always liked hotbox but this changed my mind about them.Also I couldn’t get the lady attention because she walks around with AirPods in her ears,so I had to scream to get her attention. So disappointed in this location.

By far the worst pizza we’ve ever had. We paid $50 for a pizza and “cheese bread”, which is really just a cheese pizza. Couldn’t take our card when we had more than enough money, and didn’t bring enough change for an $100. Didn’t get our sauces either. If there was a 0 star option, that’s what it would get.

Brandon Colley is the reason I make sure to physically stop by the Plainfield store when I’m craving breadsticks. First off he makes them better than anyone else and secondly he is a delight to interact with. I know when I go throughout the week he’ll be there and myself and co-workers all know who he is and we all think highly of him. Hot Box is lucky to have a general manager like him.

Came in to Celebrate my brother's Birthday and had amazing service. The pizzas were warm and made just right. We got our food in a timely fashion, our bread sticks were fresh, my brother loved his pizza and enjoyed how much pepperoni and banana peppers were on The Hot box pizza. Great service and had a great timeKid-friendliness: Was very attentive, kind and showed great customer service even when being the only one in the store working at the time we're eating

I ordered a pizza for delivery, but didn’t receive any confirmation email, so I called the store to double check I did it correctly. The manager went above and beyond to help me. He informed me about their driving shortage and the use of door dash drivers and insisted I call if my pizza came and I was not thoroughly satisfied, so he could assist me and make it better. I didn’t have any issues with the pizza, but I wanted to personally write a review to let him know how much I appreciated his attentive customer service, especially now a days where it seems to not exist. 5/5!
