“I see everyone on here talking about the owners customer service. What y'all don't understand is a man. A man who is doing his own thing in a tough environment. I'm from the G so I respect his angle. He reminds me of a deli owner in New York. That brother cooking good food standing on business. If u want good customer service go to Walmart. If you want some good food go to S&G waffle shack.?“
“My family and I stopped in and god… It was so so good!! I had a sausage + cheese omelette and I couldn’t finish it because I was making room to try out the Oreo s’more pancakes my sister ordered. We had to get some boxes to take them home.Everything was absolutely delicious and the staff were so friendly! Our server was wonderful, sadly I can’t recall her name, but she was very sweet and friendly!I’m definitely recommending this place to my friends. I definitely recommend the Oreo s’more pancakes with a glass of milk if you have a sweet tooth!!“
“I’ve been here twice and both times I was impressed. Today I ordered the Cali Club Wrap with side salad. It was good, the wrap had a sweet flavor to it. I also recommend the breakfast book harvest bowl. The veggies were so fresh, it did not at all taste like your typical greasy omelette place. Prices are reasonable too.“
“Great basic diner. The omelets, skillets and sampler dishes are all worth it. My favorite is the pecan waffle, add the sautéed apples. Worth every penny, trust me. The George's Special omelet is also very good. I recommend the diced potatoes. Not because the hash browns are bad, but they are definitely worth a try.“
“We had the privilege of being served by Sean. He was very personable and had a great understanding of the menu and the meal options. He kept our coffee mugs filled and the food was hot when served. The cinnamon swirl FRENCH TOAST is "FIRE" hands down the best French toast I've ever tasted! I would recommend this toast on any visit! The special #1 was a basic breakfast sausage links and bacon with 2 good sized pancakes and lots of eggs with potatoes made via your choice. I had the cut potatoes. I tried the hash browns with onions and green peppers on the other plate and it was delicious! Great Breakfast place in NW Indiana. There are 3 locations in this area as well.“
“Come in, sit anywhere, and prepare yourself if you plan to get lunch. It can be a lot.I was full-on ready for some French Toast, when I watched the waitress bring a Spaghetti and Meatballs by that totally flipped my decision. It was sweet misery. ? will be back!Old school café.“
“I can not recommend Will it Waffle enough if you are close by!!I prefer the sweet options, while my husband likes the savory options, so together we have tried so much of the menu. Savory lovers-The deep dish pizza waffle is a must! For the sweet tooths-M&M waffle on a stick is literally perfection. The owner is also beyond friendly and you can tell that she really loves what she does. From the food to the customer service, you won't be disappointed.“
“Great food and very nice atmosphere. Large portions and very well prepared. Recommend the Biscuits and gravy combo. Also the sausage was high quality and not over seasoned. The bacon was crispy but not over cooked and the rest of the meal was cooked to request. Very friendly staff, but can get busy. Worth the wait if you have to.“
“Still the best place to get your breakfast and I’ve been to quite a few. Large portions. I always have to share an order with my sister. We almost always order their seafood skillet every time we visit. I love their pancakes and sausages with grilled jalapeño peppers.“
“Stopped by to try them out & I can say I’ll be back again.OMG this mamas burrito is delicious & the orange juice helps bring it all together.Super clean on the inside, the lady at the front was super nice & helpful. Food is made fresh to order. I had to snap a quick pic before I finished “
“This was my hubby and I 1st time visiting and it was good. The coffee wasn't strong enough it tastes water down. But other than that the food was good.Kid-friendliness: It somewhere you can take your whole family and enjoy ?.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking accessible“
“Wow! This place is AMAZING!! I've been a few times now. It is always busy but they get you seated quickly, the staff are attentive, the coffee is hot and fresh, and the food comes out quickly. Servings are generous, and everything I've had has been so tasty. The French Toast Crisp is a must try! And if you're a crepes person, I also recommend the strawberries and Nutella crepes. (I think they are called European crepes on the menu.)“
“Just picked up breakfast to-go and the entire experience was delightful. The waitress on duty was super nice and engaging. I absolutely love the retro feel of the place. Super cool pics of Hammond from the 40's 50's ect. Food was served hot and fresh. Will absolutely 10/10 be returning ? ?“
“So I visited the area for spring break and was taken to this restaurant by my Son and his Wife on March 18, 2024. I was very pleased with the ambiance. It's an intimate restaurant with a small waiting area that leads out to the eating entrance that has at least 10 tables ranging from 2 to 4 seats, two restrooms, drinking station used by the employees and the cooking area. The Waitress was pleasant and experienced. The presentation of each dish was mouthwatering as you can see. The taste was very much to my liking and seasoning to a minimum as it should be. The amount of food you get for the price is definitely feasible. Yes, you get your monies worth! The Cook that day was on point and delivered! He needs his own tip jar! The way he made the hashbrowns are unique with this mashed/hashbrown taste that melts in your mouth. My omelet was loaded with spinach, I definitely took in my daily dosage of Vitamin C for that day. Freshness and not overcooked was also key. Restaurants like this are fading away in St. Louis City and we need to "Bring Back America" with this here. In my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice, "I will be back".“
“I’ve been going here a long time and I really love the food. The prices are great and the portions are nice. The special is a nice amount for the price too. They have the cleanest silverware I’ve ever eaten on. Usually I get plastic when I dine out but I am so impressed with how clean they keep it. I use to go so often they already know what I want.“
“Enjoyed a lovely meal Sunday morning. There were plenty of seats available, the coffee was hot and delicious, and our server was fantastic. We loved the Crepes and Eggs Benedict. And, there was a special benedict, a South Of The Border version with Chorizo and Chipotle Hollandaise which was amazing!“
“The food is pretty good. Slightly pricey but it’s worth it. The service could have been better but she was probably new and has to learn the ropes of being a waitress. The owner was very down to earth. Keep up the great work !! Mimosa were good ?“
“This is one of my breakfast go-tos. The food is great and so is the service. I ordered carry out. I got the Sophia’s omelette minus ham but extra sausage with American cheese. I got grits instead of hash browns and an English muffin. The omelette was huge. I believe they are 5 eggs. They weren’t skimpy with the ingredients either. They have a huge selection of breakfast and lunch options, so practically anyone can find something that they like. I will definitely be back.“
“This restaurant is fantastic for a meal! My go-to is always the country fried steak and eggs. I've been a regular here for years, bringing my partner and kids along every time. We all adore the friendly service and delicious food. If you're looking for a wonderful family-friendly spot with fantastic food and even better people, this is the place to be. Come on by and experience it for yourself!“
“I’ve been visiting this location since 2022 and have always been treated very well.Very calm and relaxing environment in the afternoon and evening; Great for if you’re looking to enjoy a late meal or catch up on work.Service, cleanliness, staff friendliness, management, and meals are always beyond satisfactory!“
