I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu already, anything you get is 10/10 . The cream of chicken & rice soup is a must try, any time I’m sick that’s my go to . It’s my family’s favorite soup . The restaurant has about 30 tables, but some of the table spacing is pretty tight, so if you have big hips like me, you'll be comfy seating on the bench seats, but squeeze your body in between the tables and be careful not to hit the patron sitting next to you!The menu has some classic items like waffles and pancakes, but their Mexican entrees are tasteful. Everything was good and I would definitely go back! Generous size pork chop, no bone, a little drier and less caramelization than I preferred but still above average. Crinkle cut fries were $1.50 on top of the $6.50 sandwich. TV set to NBC (Dateline was on) but not loud. Cash only, ATM available. Tap water available so you're not compelled to pay for a drink if you prefer not to. (Also a hint to me that things are hopefully clean enough for washed cups and clean water.)Clientele that day was a mix of Black women and men, owner/staff appear Mexican, and my co-worker and I are neither but we all enjoyed a workday lunch.Reserving a star until another visit for breakfast and will snag photos of new menu next time.
