“This is our favorite date night spot whether it’s out at the outdoor patio when the weather is nice or inside by the fireplace when it’s cold! Tonight we had the brisket Philly cheesesteak and hand cut fries. My hubby also had the wings and he said “best in Seymour!” The drinks are always fantastic! Tom does a great job! Go check it out!”

“We went in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The food is cooked right in front of the counter! It's a family ran business for 50 years. Hamburgers with cooked onions with hand cut fries(had some of the longest fries I've ever seen) that are so so good! Kathy was our server. She was very helpful with our ordering(even tho they were so busy) decisions. We are so grateful for her suggestions for lunch and for her taking the time she didn't have to help us. She will definitely be our server everytime!!!! It's an old time diner, very nostalgic and with vintage pictures on the wall. Liz larrison(owner) was right up front on the grill just cooking away. They still make milkshakes the old fashioned way too!! They are always busy but it's worth walking thru that door!!! They close everyday at 2pm so if your hungry, get on in there before they close. It's a definite must stop for anyone traveling on interstate 65 exit 50, Seymour, IN”

“I like to rate a meal on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being perfect, and rarely give more than an 8 or 9, even if the meal is really good. I went a week ago, and the burger and fries were amazing. Definitely a 10, not a 9, not a 9.5. The best burger I've had in years. So good I went back yesterday, just to make sure. Damn, another 10. Burger and fries were perfect! It's on my must stop list if I am in Seymour, Indiana. I don't care what else they have to offer. I'm sure it would be great, but I'm going with what I know will be great.

Parking: I am not sure, but I think the side parking lot is marked for another business.”

“I'm typically amazed purchasing fast food when I'm not in my home area and this stop was no exception. Food was fast as hell and hot! Lady working the window was very friendly and I couldn't believe it but the coke tasted like coke lol. These are all things that are exceptionally rare where I live. Keep up the good work!”

At first glance at the menu I thought the prices were a bit high, but when our food came out I was happily surprised by how large the portion sizes were! “We stopped on our way to Florida. Our server Gina was great! The entire staff pitched in as well, manager came over several times to check on us. Everything came out with light speed!! Super good, super fast, super friendly. Great place to stop on a long road trip or if you live in the area.”

“I'm a truck driver passing through and decided to park in their truck lot to have some breakfast. The parking lot was definitely ice and snow covered from the winter storm the previous day. I guess I can't really blame them for that. I'm not sure if a plow truck could have done much with it.

Anyway, I elected to get the ribeye steak and eggs. Despite being a thin 8 oz cut, the steak was cooked to a medium rare, per my specifications. My over medium eggs we're also cooked perfectly. The sausage gravy was not homemade. Pretty average compared to most other sausage gravy mixes. Bob Evans still has the best sausage gravy. Needless to say, I will be back to try other things on the menu.

Ordered a foot long extra meat , sign says $3.99 for extra meat but charged $4.99 ... Their stupid excuse is ' maybe it's per piece '

“A giant SHOUT OUT to the McAlister's (Seymour) location. Not only are sandwiches astounding, and their prices fair, but they are the Chick-fil-A of deli customer service. There was a rare problem with our order (mine), and the woman manager on duty bent over backwards to make sure we were satisfied. It was GOOD, old-fashioned customer service. That means a LOT to us, because when we had one of our New Hampshire businesses, we had 60,000 customers--and five complaints (all resolved to the satisfaction of the complainants). Good customer service is NOT rocket science, but if it would be, the young lady at the Seymour location (and the rest of her friendly staff) would be "Mission Control." Well-done, Seymour McAlister's.”

“Went here for my first time tonight and got the country tenderloin. Absolutely delicious. I ordered it with mashed potatoes and green beans and it reminded me of home cooking. Our waitress was the sweetest lady ever and we had a great time. Definitely recommend visiting here!”
