“Big fan of this place. Everything is so fresh, and taste so good! I have been here a handful of times and every time I’ve had great service and food has been delicious. They also have a nice selection of gift items to browse while you’re waiting for your food. 10/10 recommend!“
“Another early supper/late afternoon at The Cellar Wine Bar and Kitchen with my sister Jane. The menu is so much fun to explore. The cocktails amazing (I had a Jeffereon Street Old-fashioned but was sorely tempted by the Harter Heights Hipster). The wines interesting and varied. I was thinking I'd try a Malbec from Argentina with a Cubano Panini. But I opted for a great cab (Iconclast) with meatballs. The herbs in the pork and beef meatballs were so good. Did I detect some rosemary? And the marinara sauce superb. And globs of burrata ensconced in the marinara. All accompanied by crostini. (Last time I had Adult Mac and Cheese. The time before that I had the andouille bruschetta with apricot spread. The Caesar Salad is excellent and easily shared by an army of 12. I didn't finish anything but have good meatballs for home eating. And, of course, crostini. We love Table 11 with it's comfy armchairs. The Cellar is so wonderful. Its owners embraced South Bend and Mishawaka and have created a space which is elegant yet casual. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Grew up eating Starlite Pizza. I’ve been out of South Bend for 40 years but every year I return starlight is my requested dinner for the first night. It never disappoints stopped in last night. On my drive into South Bend from Rhode Island and ordered three large pizzas. Absolutely delicious. I’ll probably pick up one more tomorrow as I continue my drive to Arizona.“
“Stopped in for lunch with. Local customer. Didn't know what to expect. Simeri's is a local dive bar with exceptional food. Started with tomato beef soup. Wish I had gotten a full bowl, it was delicious. Followed that up w/ a chef salad that was filling and full of fresh veggies. My colleagues had the ham and scalloped potato's, breaded pork tenderloin sandwich (looked amazing) and the blue cheese chicken pecan salad. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. The waitress/ bartender/ possible owner couldn't have been more accommodating. A real hidden gem. Can't wait to come back!“
“My husband and I find a local pizza place to try when traveling. The South Bend area had multiple. I don't regret our choice, loved it. I think it has to be the cheese. I don't know the brand or the blend, but OMG, amazing. It's creamy and favorable. The pepperoni and sausage were layered between two layers of this cheese. The sausage was fresh, cooked to order for each pizza. It also had great flavor. It's a bit spicy, but not extreme. The only thing that could have made it better is a thick, creamy, made in house made ranch. The ranch tasted like kraft, which I'm not a fan of.Parking: This location is downtown. Parking can be hard to find if an event is going on.“
“Too fast. The girl outside in the drive through lane was trying to take out order before we even got to the menu board to see what was offered. She was also talking too fast and it was hard to understand her at times. Food great as per usual.“
“My friend and I ate dinner here tonight. We had a coupon for $13.99 buy one get one free. What a great deal for some fabulous food! The food exceeded my expectations! I don't know. Normally eat the chilled shrimp because it's not devaned. The shrimp was absolutely beautiful and delicious and devaned. I highly recommend this restaurant!“
“Great college pizzas! I just got introduced to this pizza recently by some coworkers.I have already been there 3 more times in the last 2 months lol... and now I guess I need to sign up for the club ...I moved this way from Chicago and do love my pizza. This is now my top late-night and quick lunch pizza and I appreciate it!“
“NOKU Bistro And Sushi Bar offers a delightful dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds and soothes the soul. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a serene ambiance and the subtle beats of popular music, setting the stage for a relaxing meal. The hostess, doubling as our waitress, was a picture of courtesy, promptly seating us and taking our drink orders. Our culinary journey began with an appetizer spread featuring the tantalizing California roll with spicy mayo and the exquisite dragon roll, complemented by the delightful crunch of lobster rangoon. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, leaving us craving for more. For our main course, we indulged in the lunch special General Tso's chicken, a culinary masterpiece that redefined our expectations of this classic dish. The perfectly balanced flavors, combined with tender chicken, made it a standout. Accompanied by hibachi fried rice, every mouthful was a journey to culinary bliss. To wash it all down, we sampled a selection of beverages, including a small sake that packed a delightful punch, and refreshing lemonade and iced tea.The atmosphere was serene, the staff attentive and kind, and the cleanliness impeccable. Our experience at NOKU Bistro And Sushi Bar left us eager to return, perhaps for the tempting all-you-can-eat option. Truly a gem worth savoring again and again.“
“This place has absolutely phenomenal food and service. I got the chicken poppers as an appetizer; the breading on them is perfectly light and crispy, and the sauce has the perfect amount of zing to it! As my entree I got the Lil Piggy - it was absolutely fantastic. I was particularly impressed with the bun it came on, it must be made locally or in-house, because it was SO fluffy and plush! I also thought everything was priced very reasonably. I will absolutely be coming back to try the rest of the menu!In addition, the staff was extremely attentive and kind. Thank you all for an excellent experience!“
