“Bakery items were out of this world. Staff Associate was very efficient and polite. Store was just busy due to large volume sales of pachikis. Maybe a more organized method for pre-order items vs walk-ins. In the store's defense, the staff were moving the customers in quite quickly.“

They're always friendly and quick and prices are reasonable too.Vegetarian options: You can build your pizza however you want, they're super accommodating.Dietary restrictions: I know they have gluten free pizza crust and vegan cheese, although I think those are both upcharged. “My husband and I find a local pizza place to try when traveling. The South Bend area had multiple. I don't regret our choice, loved it. I think it has to be the cheese. I don't know the brand or the blend, but OMG, amazing. It's creamy and favorable. The pepperoni and sausage were layered between two layers of this cheese. The sausage was fresh, cooked to order for each pizza. It also had great flavor. It's a bit spicy, but not extreme.The only thing that could have made it better is a thick, creamy, made in house made ranch. The ranch tasted like kraft, which I'm not a fan of.Parking: This location is downtown. Parking can be hard to find if an event is going on.“
“This place is ultimate nostalgia made present and real. My dad raised me on their pizza as a child. I remember waiting with him in the restaurant for our name to be called. It got so bad that I would beg him for it almost every other day! The interior is the same as when I was young. The pizza is just as amazing now as it was then too! Luigi's will never hear a bad word about them through my mouth. I'll continue to support this local business as long as I possibly can. “Grew up eating Starlite Pizza. I’ve been out of South Bend for 40 years but every year I return starlight is my requested dinner for the first night. It never disappoints stopped in last night. On my drive into South Bend from Rhode Island and ordered three large pizzas. Absolutely delicious. I’ll probably pick up one more tomorrow as I continue my drive to Arizona.“
“Easily my favorite pizza in South Bend. No one else can match their consistently, perfect crust. I would characterize it as it as more of a "thin" crust, yet it's substantial enough to support the toppings. But, the best part is that the crust is both crispy, and chewy, from the outer edge to the center of the pie *chef's kiss*. I just love it. I also recommend including the sausage with the other toppings of your choice. It's deliciously flavored, and the small crumble is both unique and texturally superior, in my opinion. And, I always order extra, because it is equally fantastic eaten cold or reheated in my toaster oven. Thank you, Lacopo's Pizzeria, for never letting me down. “The biggest issues i always have with pizzas are the lack of flavor in crusts…You don’t get that here. Multiple options to add some flavor to the crusts and it makes the pizzas tremendously better. Their sauces are better than most other chain “
