“This dinky little diner serves big breakfasts. For instance, I had the Covered and Smothered (or vice-versa) - taters, 3 eggs, plenty of sausage gravy and maybe cheese. Yum. I was stuffed. Under $10.”

“I went to the Auburn fair and seen Elizabeth’s lovely table! It was beautiful with many yummy looking pastries. Elizabeth was kind, full of joy and kept a wonderful smile chatting with us. We got a pumpkin roll slice, fruity pebble rice crispy and a mint brownie. The pumpkin roll was to die for, soft pumpkin bread with the yummy cream center. The rice crispy was not so enjoyable, it seemed stale and the marshmallow was very minimal that the cereal kinda just crumbled off. We saved the brownie for later and got to it 2 days later. (Got it Friday night, went to eat it Sunday morning) Now there is no enjoy by date or specification when to eat it but I assumed the brownie should be okay, but when I looked at it, it was starting to get little green fuzzy spots. So unfortunately I was unable to enjoy it. I suggest a little enjoy by sticker or vocal eat it today or the next so nothing gets moldy.Pumpkin roll was delicious and my favorite and if she ever opens a little bakery to walk in and enjoy, I’ll still come by! “I love everything about 9th Street Brew Coffee House. The whole vibe is great. The staff are the absolute best and Dawn is always so kind and fun! The esthetic of the coffee shop is great too, love the exposed brick and the cozy seating area. I love the location in the heart of downtown Auburn by the courthouse square. Coffee is amazing too, of course!”

“We had great coffee drinks and a giant chocolate chip cookie! The couple working were very friendly and nice. After getting our drinks and snack, we took our 3 year old to the kids area set up in the basement. She had a blast and we were able to relax while watching her play! “Best rice, hands down. Also the pastor is great, nice sized portions. Never had a bad experience here. Great back ups if you dont like pork is the chicken or steak. Only issue is the parking, but worth the "struggle".”

“I never remember to take pictures before we devoured everything! This time, I think we had the all meat pizza. As usual, it was LOADED with meat AND cheese. They never skimp on toppings, including the cheese. I have been blessed to actually meet both members of the couple who own this place. They are both very personable people who take pizza seriously! I have had a great amount of pizza in my adult life, having been a GM for both a Domino's and a Papa John's. The pizza that we have had here far surpasses ANY chain store pizza I've ever tasted. Everything we have ordered from here has far surpassed my expectations of a small town pizza restaurant. ?”

“This is my favorite coffee place! They have the best Chai and I love their mochas too. The atmosphere reminds me of being in a Hallmark movie - just very calm and cozy. There’s plenty of seating inside, upstairs and downstairs. There is outdoor seating as well. They also have a public restroom. Overall just a great place to get some coffee or food and hang out!Parking: Free parking across the street, on the street, and on the other side next to the coffee house.”

“I was there February 10th with my dad brothers an nephews (6 of us total) we drove 2.5hr to check out the car museum an just happen to drive by an thought let's check it out I have to say the owners were super nice an friendly an the food was amazing I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great food an friendly atmosphere. “This is home-cooking @ it's best. One of the specials today was the volcano pot roast which I had because it's one of my favorites. The roast beef is tender & plentiful with gravy over mashed potatoes & on a piece of white bread with onion straws on top. Somehow that piece of white bread tastes so good with soaked up gravy & reminds me of my youth. Seasoned green beans with onion bits & bacon round out the perfect meal. I had the leftovers for supper & it's great reheated, too. Harlan Cafe has great skillet breakfasts, sampler, & pancakes & several different waffles done to perfection. Never had a bad meal here!”

“I’ve been going here for years and i’ve never had a complaint for the brown house. staff is always great and food is always fresh. I understand every other fast food is doing the tip thing now, it’s nice to get tips. But i feel peer pressured to tip when you go from handing me a device and asking versus a teenager looking me in the face and asking me if i’d like to tip today. It’s not that i don’t have the money and or appreciate the service. It’s that many people like me have high anxiety and won’t be able to say no to that. I did end up tipping, that i did not want to do. I feel like the device is a much better option to ask for a tip.”

“This is truly a wonderful place to get Pizza. They have thin and pan crust. The toppings are generous and the staff friendly. The fact that you get to order your pizza from a booth with a phone on the wall is a piece of nostalgia.”

“Sorry there's no picture. Whenever I come here I'm so excited to eat that I forget to snap a pic. We've been eating here almost weekly since moving to the area. We've watch this restaurant go through tough times and frequent staff changes and The ownership is changing as we speak. However, the chef has not and she's awesome! The food here is fresh, well prepared and plentiful. I've had almost everything on the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. This best coffee in the area combined with a real neighborhood feel make this restaurant a regular staple for many of the locals. My favorite item ? The breakfast potatoes. Whether they're sliced or hashed, this chef puts pure magic into those spuds, I could eat them all day. The new owner is lovely and after speaking to him a few times I can tell that he's devoted to making this restaurant a long term representation of the stereotypical Midwest food and friendliness that we've come to love. If I had to suggest anything it would be to update the decor a little bit. A little paint and some modern lighting would really make this place cozy and cute. But PLEASE keep the melting pot on the menu”

“Facebook reviews was right, food here was good . Had the boneless pork ribeye and sweet potato fries. The pork was very flavorful and tender and the fries came with a sweet cream cheese dipping sauce.Wife had the prime rib and was very well prepared and a nice generous cut as well. Our server was on top of everything and took good care of us. Very freindly place , plan on visiting again.”

“This was our first time stopping here and just to be clear it was a little later in the day so I can only speak to our experience. The place is a neat little shop in an older building so there is a nice atmosphere in there. The person that was there was very nice and helpful. Our selection of cookies was limited due to the time of day we were there. We got a frosted sugar cookie, triple chocolate chip cookie, and a snicker doodle. All were good size. Taste was good but felt like they were missing just a little something. Overall it was a good experience and would recommend checking it out. Go early for best selection ?”

“Finally got to try this place for lunch, I always miss their opening hours. Food was delicious. Had the club sandwich which was very filling with home made kettle chips which warning you can't get enough of, and the spinach bacon quiche was also very filling and both big portions with a side of pickle.
