“I was passing through town and found this place via Google search, and I'm glad I did! The staff is wonderful, warm, and friendly (Zara, my server, was excellent!). Even the owner was happy to stop and talk about culture and cuisine. I had a few pieces of a la carte sashimi and then a sushi/sashimi combo. All of the fish was very fresh and properly sized. I would have like to see a bit broader offerings (kizame, ama ebi) that were on par with the quality of the fish, but overall I was very happy and the prices are reasonable. Be sure to try the red snapper soup!”

“Hammers is great! I love the atmosphere, retro style build, and appropriately sized environment. If you like to be able to walk to get a drink, or get one in general, then you've got your beer or cocktail in hand. I already respected the owner/owners, but I really enjoyed my time there.”

“Best dinner we had in Syracuse. Our server Shelly was the best! Steaks were amazing, peach bruschetta and crab dip apps were outstanding. Best part was the Blueberry Bourbon Sour. So good! We will be back!”

“Probably one of my favorite spots. A friend and I stop in now and again (kinda our thing if you will) for breakfast and occasionally lunch. The food is always excellent and service is very prompt with a "hometown" feel that you don't experience a lot these days. They only take cash payments, but pricing is fair and the portions are enough to fill your belly. Thanks and keep up the great work!”

“Fantastic brunch! I recommend the breakfast poutine. The gravy was delicious and the goat cheese added a punch. Also recommend upgrading to the Black Rifle coffee. The half pound of bacon seems like way more than a half pound. Amazing!”

“Brew City has my heart! They have the best coffee and pastries/sandwiches around. You can tell they make everything with love. Everything is made in house from roasting their own coffee beans to making their own bread & pastries. The employees seem so attentive & caring as well & seem to actually enjoy their job! “Been going to the Channel Marker for years. By far my favorite spot. The food is great! The service is always excellent! Our waitress remembers us when we come in and even what we order. I’ve never had a bad meal here. It’s a great spot to just watch the boats on Main channel and enjoy a great atmosphere!”

They have typical bar style menu with sandwiches and baskets. Nothing wrong with that, but if you are looking for a platter lunch...think twice”
