“This bruscetta photo says it all! We had the New Year menu that included appetizer, salad, main course with sides, excellent dessert, and a glass of champagne or wine! I challenge anyone to find a better chicken breast or steak! We were so busy enjoying our food that I forgot to take other photos. We used to go there a lot, but stopped as the food quality went south. I'm so glad we are going back now. If you had a poor experience in the past, I would say give it another try. You won't be disappointed, and if you are, they will make it right!“
“Went with my husband and bought a dinner for my dad as well. We were all disappointed in the fries......some tasted burnt and my dad's fries had a lot of bad spots in them. I was disappointed to find out they did not have regular hot dog buns without poppy seeds on them (which I can not have) so they used a hogie bread for my Ruben which ended up being a sausage I did not expect. The service and faculty was nice, so I am sure after a while I would try and eat there again.“

“This place is the ideal hole in the wall living place you would ideally want to visit. Me and my lady came here on 3-26-24 for our 8 year anniversary and this made our trip to Syracuse that much more memorable! Connie was welcoming and so friendly once we walked in. After I found out the lady's name that just looked like the heart of the place I was so ready to post this review. Kim was the other lady I was referring to and Connie is Kim's daughter ❤️ it all made sense the ! I got the kitchen sink omelette and my lady got the French toast. I can see why people rate this place why they do and glad I checked it out! Food was amazing I ate it all. The place has such cute take aways it was just amazing all around. This place made you feel loved and comfortable and that's what gets great reviews respect and people coming back. WE WILL BE BACK! LOVE YALL!!!“
“We came here right after a bad expierence tryna get frog legs at another certain tavern that may or may not be close by BUT at louiesBEST SERVICE bartender treated my small party so well ! Loved the atmosphere and made us feel super welcome after a bad start to the day and got my guys the frog legs they wanted so badly and made the day so much better cannot not recommend this place enough !“
“It's very conveniently located for a quick stop. The service was fantastic and the wait staff was very friendly.We were quickly greeted once we sat down and got our food within 15 minutes of ordering.The large coffee and Cafe menu has a lot of great options and the flavors did not disappoint.We will for sure be back“
“Me and my girlfriend arrived at this place about 8pm on 3-25-24 and the rest was history. The place was so beautifully set by the water, walked inside and the ambiance was immediately drawing us in further. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. She suggested a lot of local favorites and we decided on potato skins and the coconut shrimp. This was our eat spot and we are glad we chose food here. After smashing what we ordered we paid agreed it was all worth it while staring outside to the water and pier. We will definitely be back and this is a must stop place in Syracuse!!“
“Our first time there. Great food! You get your money's worth. The server was very good at explaining the menu, the specials and answering our questions. Great service and a great atmosphere! The cook did a wonderful job in cooking everything the way we wanted. We'll definitely be returning. Their salads are great!“
“I wasn't very hungry but we decided to have a late lunch at the restaurant in the Oakwood resort. View was beautiful, food was pretty good, and the service was fair. We spoke with a Syracuse local and she said the Pier and Back Porch was the go to restaurant on the lake. The prices were cheaper than I expected for a private club feeling. I enjoyed the huge salmon burger with fries. The chicken quesidilla was also quite tasty. The warm fall weather made walking along the lake after lunch very enjoyable and the hotel staff was very friendly and made us want to actually stay there. I'd love to eat some fish on the outdoor patio during the summer for that waterside experience. Super good vibes all around this place. Worth the trip for sure.“
“Syracuse Cafe is the real deal. I had a smoked pork chop for lunch that was PERFECT. Could not be better. Slice and eat. My colleagues had the tenderloin that was amazing. It was twice the size of the bun. And. They served a cole slaw made by the local Amish community. Also. The service was pleasant and personal. Thank you to everyone!“
