“I dined with a party of five. The service was terrific. We were never rushed. My steak was cooked to my specifications. All the sides were delicious. I was disappointed that escargot is no longer available. Nevertheless, I enjoyed their French onion soup as my appetizer; it was terrific....very hot and delicious. I have enjoyed eating at J. Ford's many times and I will definitely return.“
“Sorry I didn't get a picture of the food - it was too good and I was too hungry. Like all good pizza places they have a couple of different types of crust. I got the cauliflower, it was very crispy. There were 6 of us and we all got a different one and then we sampled each other's. They were all great. You can also change the toppings to your liking.Also, the cookies are amazing!“

“If you want to eat at a place that treats you like family, this is the place to be. The owner and her daughter were so friendly and chatted with us while we waited for our food and ate. The hustled our toddlers plate out so he could eat quickly, shared stories of their family, and asked about ours. We all left with full bellies and piled high to go boxes. I had the healthy bowl, my wife had the Gyro, and my son had noodles and red sauce. Everything was made from scratch and delicious!“
“Today was our lucky day! We arrived on a Saturday, the first day this season they're offering lunch on that day. We were looking for something healthy and delicious as we passed through Terre Haute and this cafe fit the bill 100%. The place is spotless and decorated so cute, two rooms with some home goods for sale in the second room. We ordered the Glow Bowl, the Southwest Chicken BLT and an Emerald Crème latte. All three of those items were flawless. The latte (pistachio) not too sweet, the food items were wonderful. The folks who work here couldn't be nicer as well; we talked with the nicest lady who was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this cafe!“
“The sandwiches are very good and tasty and it's always hard to decide which one I'm going to get but whichever one I choose it is always wonderful. Their service is good never have to wait to long for our food. Plenty of tables and space even a small room for those wanting a little privacy.“
“We loved it here. Family-friendly and had an abundance of great menu options. I had the pea salad and fried walleye w a sweet Potatoe. ? My family ordered steaks and burgers/onion rings. We need to go back and try the desert menu. We were too full at that point, to endulge. The options were so enticing. We will be back! A Must Try!!!“
“We ate in the restaurant at an off time of the day, 3:00ish. The portion sizes were very generous, the food was freshly made, the cashier was friendly. The Crab Rangoon are very large and fantastic! I ordered chicken and pea pods my spouse ordered orange sesame chicken. My pea pods were scrumptious but the chicken was the same deep fried chicken as in my husband's orange chicken; tough, dry and over cooked. I would recommend asking detailed questions about the preparation and contents of the dish you order. If in doubt, stick to the appetizers instead of the main dish.It's important to note there were around 10 carry out orders collected while we were there; they do a lot of business that way.Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to find multiple spots close to the entrance.“

“Wonderful, small little ice cream shop with a ton of flavor options! If you are around the area, stop in and check it out! I had the cappuccino crunch, and husband went with low-fat blueberry cheesecake yogurt. They were both super good! Owner was also working and as kind as can be. We will be back if ever in the area.“
