Stopped by when passing through from Valpo. Friendly place with ice cold beer, good food, and a friendly feel to it. Bartender and cook were hot and fun to talk to, so that's always a plus. Enjoy America and eat local...you'll like it.
It is what it is and rated as such: for us, it's a regular standby for decent, well-priced bar food-- mostly the Wednesday taco special and the Friday fish. It's clean and well lit, and strangers are welcome, just as so they aren't too strange.

This little bar was a great find! Every time I am in Wanatah for work I try to stop here for a meal. The food is great! They have daily specials and they have homemade soups! Service is great and the other customers are friendly.
