“****Edit: Somehow my "does NOT recommend" was changed to "recommends". I do NOT recommend for group gatherings.*** I made a reservation for a work party and was told they do not like to book reservations on Friday nights, especially for parties larger than 12. That was right around what I was expecting; although, I may have had a few more. I made sure to get RSVPs from folks so I could pivot to a different location and cancel, if necessary. We ended up having 11 folks total in our party, so it worked out. The Bryant sent me a text the day before the reservation to ask that we keep the reservation limited to 2 hours or less (this would have been nice to know when I had booked ~3 weeks prior). Move to the day of: I got there around 20 minutes early thinking they could seat me at the table, if it was ready, or at least seat me right at 6 pm, since that was the time the reservation was for. The hostess informed me that they would not seat me until at least half of my party was there; so, I went to the bar area and had a drink while I waited for other folks to arrive. The bar staff was friendly and prompt. I closed out my tab for the one drink and moved back to the hostess area around 5:50, when I expected other folks to start arriving. I sat on the couch, and the first few folks started trickling in. I informed them of what I was told, and we waited until there were 7 of us there before I approached and told the hostess that over half of us were present (around 5:59). There was another woman at the hostess stand, whom I'm assuming was a manger with the way she was moving about the establishmen, who asked me when I expected the rest of our party to arrive. I told her I expected everyone there within a few minutes. She informed me that they would start getting waters on the table and then they would seat us. I found this a little odd; but, it wasn't a deal breaker. We ended up being seated about 10 minutes after our reservation was scheduled for. Again, I am flexible and understand that plans might need adjustments from time to time. Maybe they hadn't put the tables together yet, for all I knew. We got seated and the waitress got our drink and appetizer orders in. The waitress did a good job taking care of the large party and did what I needed her to with the bill (splitting it into two bills). Our food was delicious and the drinks were good. She was observant and was quick to get boxes for us as meals were finished. There were a couple desserts ordered: they arrived quickly and were delicious. Plates were being cleared around 7:50. A few folks may have wanted to order another drink or two; however, the lady manager proceeded to stop at our table around 7:53 to tell us they had another reservation at 8 and we needed to leave. Had they not delayed seating us and gave us a full 2 hours, I likely would not be leaving this review. I found the management rude for the amount of money that they were making in the hour and 45 minutes that we were there (over $550 was spent). In my opinion, kicking customers out of a dining establishment is not a good way to keep business. Although the wait staff and food was overall good, I do not intend on booking another group event at The Bryant: nor can I recommend it to anyone looking to book larger group events.”

“I’ve come here with my boyfriend a few times now and we love the atmosphere and, of course, the food - there are delicious options for steaks, family-style sides, and plenty of great drinks to choose from!

Our server, Kenzie M., was lovely - she was attentive to our table and answered any questions we had with very genuine demeanor. Francis also displayed great showmanship serving our baked Alaska. The staff care about your experience here and it really shows!

“Rich kid green views, top tier service, ideal location for pulling in after the eighteenth hole, and menu is tiny but that's probably what these basic white people need! Us three loved the unique margarita but couldn't find any flavors in the rum punch. At these prices would assume the mixology doesn't play around, forgiven for a new place getting its groove on. I did burnt ends, others loaded up with sliders and French dip sandwich. Of course the sizing and calorie count is well under the pennies spent. Prices are as expected for valet offered and snazzy buttoned up caddies wondering around. I don't see myself here again on purpose to spend my own bucks given many better values and bigger menus near campus like my all-time pick Town and Gown, accommodating Christos, and splendid Redseven, but this is going to be the hole in one for many!”

“Probably the best ambience at West Lafayette. The restaurant is well decorated and well organized, feels like high end. The servers are basically Purdue students and they were very professional, prompt and welcoming. Definitely some place where you should come with out of town/state date to impress them.

All their offerings are 3 course meals. A salad or soup, an entree and a dessert. I tried their salad, Atlantic cod fish with some veggies and fresh fruit as the salad. I verified from the server that they don’t use alcohol to cook. They had some interesting desserts, but did not try from concern of non-halal ingredients. Their food taste was overall good but the portions are not enough.
I was hungry even after lunch.”

“I was in Lafeyette late night as like 10.00 PM. It is small and beautiful city but in night really hard to find a place for eating good.

Store docoration good, clean and they support their business with technology. They have serving robots and hot pot warmed tables as like China Mainland.

So finally price super affordable food is super tasty. They got ready food pretty quick. The management proffessional.

“We found this gem during our visit to West Lafayette and definitely one of the best ice creams we had. The ice creams tasted so fresh and amazing taste. They got more than 30 flavors and lot of items to choose from. They dont offer samples, but the scoops are generous. We can see lot of locals out there. The store is well maintained and clean. The staff is friendly and patient. It is 15 to 20 minutes' drive from Lafayette hotel area but definitely worth the drive.
Sufficient parking shared with other shops on this small strip mall. They have indoor and outdoor seating too. Perfect stop for a hot day and grab an ice cream!! Definitely worth trying this spot dont miss out.”

“There aren’t any malatang restaurants where I live, so I had really been missing it.
I finally got to have malatang here for the first time in almost a year.
The price was affordable, and I really enjoyed the food.
The only downside is that there isn’t much table space, and most of the seating is set up for individuals, so it might be a bit difficult for a larger group to sit and eat together.”

“My friend and I were at Homestead for lunch today. Our first time. And now our favorite place. Freshest salad bar with all the fixings and more! Dessert was fabulous too. Clean, friendly, and delicious to boot. You can also purchase frozen meals, pies, cookies, sauces, pretzels, etc al. and continue enjoying in privacy of own home. Definitely a place for ladies ( and gents) who like to lunch.”

“Went while at the Mosey. Decided on a chocolate cake and cherry cake. They looked perfect in the case. When they were put in the bag they reached for a lower shelf so I didn't see them grab them. When got home and the grandkids came over and wanted a donut the cherry was in 2 pieces. Funny thing it didn't even fit together. Like the pieces were from a different donut and the Chocolate was in 6 pieces. Who picks defective donuts for someone and doesn't even ask? I won't be going back. Photos in comments.”

“Easily the strongest coffee program in Lafayette, in terms of bean selection (including a fun co-ferment?!), drinks, barista training, and equipment. Visited multiple times over the course of a week and they nailed the drinks and the service every time.

Beans are roasted in Carmel, IN and are done fully in-house. They are neither private labelling nor do they roast via bellwether.

Cortados and pourovers were on point and served in real glassware, rather than just to-go cups. I wish the Colombia pourover had more extraction, but the other pourovers were still prepared well.

The shop does not feel like a library, despite being study/work friendly. You can have conversations without it being awkward. Modern third-wave shop vibes.

The location on Google Maps takes you to the rear of the shop, as a heads up. There’s ample parking in the rear lot.”

We had saag paneer, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, garlic fried rice and eggplant curry. They were all delicious and the portions were huge. We will have leftovers for days.”

“Divine! Taro milk tea is so good, match ube fantastic, above average ingredients, fresh milk and tangy fruit juices, that grape mixer, wild! It should be five, no, ten stars! But can't, they have some real issues to fix. WIFI is limited to one hour, why is that? How silly dumb to cut off internet with these prices on a college campus where homework never takes less than an hour. The parking costs money too here during the weekdays until seven. Imagine paying for two hours parking then find your internet only goes half that. It's a joke. Prices are obnoxious with these extra problems. I'm a massive fan of the purple drink, grape and yogurt, really nice. Thai tea isn't as good as their Kinn neighbor or other tea places but Oreo tea, Match cold brew, and ube is fantastic. Halloween specialty drink is nearly eight bucks yet tiny. Doesn't taste that great either, oreo, Thai tea, and ube? It's a pretty looking beverage but impossible to mix in the small container, milk foam sits on the top, not a win. Fix that WIFI and maybe try blackberry, Thai tea, and that tasty white foam on top. Also why no personal cup discount? There should be a substantial dollar benefit bringing in my own container to reduce waste, ease your trash and business overhead, and most importantly: motivate loyalty! Bringing in a personal cup shows I am serious and want to become so frequent every staff member recognizes me. That's what I'm getting at here with these three issues. Feng Cha needs to step up its game and act the prices it charges so Purdue can fully embrace this place.”

“I live nearby to this Chinese restaurant and have done pick up for my family of 8 a couple dozen times or more over the years. They have good and very good food depending on what you order and although inflation has made them seemingly a bit pricey every restaurant that I have gone to has gone up, so I will say it has "relatively" good pricing. They are friendly and have always accommodated our orders for non-spicy (kids) and no sesame (allergy in the family). They are one of the three locals we frequent and my favorite of the three.”

“Fuel is awesome. I spent over 5 years at Purdue and Fuel on Northwestern Ave was a fixture throughout my PhD. So much so that it earned an honorable mention in the acknowledgements section of my thesis. The coffee is always great and so is the food. I have bought many packs of beans from them too (emphasis on the word many). I was back in West Lafayette this weekend for the commencement and had lunch there with my parents. As always, the food was delicious. Whenever I come back to West Lafayette, I'll be back at Fuel for at least a coffee and Zucchini bread. I urge you to do the same.”

“The Purdue Mellos ordered Breakfast for their recent pregame tailgate. 24 orders. Ordering in advance was super easy and the staff and management was super accommodating of vegetarian and allergy orders. So many options to choose from. Pick up no problem either as our order was ready and not one item wrong or missing. It is often hard to find a place to order so early as we had a 9 am start time. We highly recommend The Country Cafe... West Lafayette. We will be back again~”

Before visiting, it was a little confusing to try figuring out how this location worked and what to expect.All Wined Down is connected to All Fired Up (two separate entrances but the same building with a door connecting the two inside).You can choose to visit the "All Fired Up" side of the business and only paint your ceramic piece or you can pick out your piece and sit on the "All Wined Down" side and enjoy wine (by the bottle or glass) and/or cheese platters while you paint your ceramic piece.We arrived on a Saturday as soon as All Wined Down opened, and spent 3 hours there (the time flies by). Unfortunately, they had sold out of the cheese plates the night before so we were unable to buy any food. There is a selection of wine (sadly no beer) that is decently priced.It would have been nice to see a partnership with local wineries and breweries (for example Wildcat and Thieme and Wagner Brewing Co).There is a large selection of ceramic items to choose from and every color you could think of for your creations. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable and you don't feel rushed to complete your piece.Items are ready a week later and they will hold them for several months in case you aren't able to return that quickly to the area.It also would be nice to have the option of high top tables for those customers who are taller, so you don't have to hunch over the table for such a long time.Overall, a great experience and we will be returning with friends to create more pieces.”

☕ Iced Latte with Vanilla Syrup – A true classic that never disappoints. The beans are smooth and flavorful. Definitely my go-to once I’ve tried everything else on the menu!

🍮 Cloudy Salted Caramel – A little on the sweeter side for me, but my friend loved it. Perfect if you like dessert-style drinks.

🍵 Dubai Chocolate Matcha – Unique and highly recommended if you enjoy pistachio-like flavors. I absolutely love this one ❤️

“I've last visited this store when I graduated Purdue in 2005. Same delicious food, and kind staff. They even double wrapped my sandwiches for me so I could make it back to Chicago, and they were still warm!!!”

“The employees here are always very nice and remember all the guys in our construction crew. No matter how busy it gets, their attitudes don't change. The food comes out pretty quick and is always made well. No mistakes, fresh, and doesn't fall apart.”

“Excellent pizza and excellent service! Upon ordering, I found they knew what I wanted better than I did. They were very helpful and patient, making apt suggestions. This team was obviously very busy but they busted their butts and executed on our very large, last-minute order very efficiently and courteously. Vegan options are amazing and once they realized it was my granddaughter’s birthday, they brought her out a complimentary cookie! Great group! Great experience!

“Possibly the best Chinese restaurant in town right now. Their menu is on the traditional side with lots of spicy dishes but there's still plenty to keep the more American-Chinese palate happy (I recommend the beef lo mein!) I ordered lamb with veggies not sure what to expect but was surprised and thrilled by how delicious it was! And the fried dumplings are spectacular, tho I wish they came with dumpling sauce. Absolutely worth the money.”

“extremely average, not always great quality, but it’s open late and after a night out i’d ALWAYS rather have asian food over pizza, or even the taco truck.

i’ve gotten food from here a LOT as a purdue student. the beef and broccoli and mongolian beef are solid. the sesame chicken i usually crave more, but it’s a bit more hit and miss (there can be way too much breading sometimes). the lo mien/fried udon/chow mee fun are all very decent, for americanized asian food. the pad thai is below average. the fried rice is barely okay as a side in a combo meal, but definitely don’t get it as your main entree. the chicken and broccoli isn’t really my thing (it’s too salty) but i’ve only tried it once.

the service is good and the food is out pretty quick. overall, i’d say this place is equal to/better than panda express (i think this place makes your entrees fresh, unlike panda express), but it’s definitely, definitely worse than any sit-down asian restaurant in the area.

i only come here when it’s past 1am. but i’m always thankful it exists when i need it.”

I usually dine in for their half-off appetizers special, but this time I decided to try the mac and cheese with chicken tenders and it was absolutely delicious. Our bartender was friendly, attentive, and made sure our glasses were never empty. Another great experience!”

“I have the single code with mashed potatoes and coleslaw and added three shrimp to that. Both items are cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes could have been a little hotter but not really an issue. And then treated myself to a single serving of Custard in a waffle cone split into vanilla and chocolate.”

“We've eaten at this location twice now as it's close to Purdue. The restaurant is new, clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our experiences have been great with no complaints and it's become our go-to spot. I'd highly recommend this location for a quick bite.”

“They have probably the best chicken in the area. I love their Atomic sauce, the heat of it is fantastic! The fries are also wonderful! They're very fast with getting the food out and they're also very friendly. I jokingly refer to it as my adult McDonald's. I would actually say that the price for this five-piece chicken strip meal that I get is equivalent to something I would get at McDonald's, but I'm getting more for the money in terms of food and quality.”
