“****Edit: Somehow my "does NOT recommend" was changed to "recommends". I do NOT recommend for group gatherings.*** I made a reservation for a work party and was told they do not like to book reservations on Friday nights, especially for parties larger than 12. That was right around what I was expecting; although, I may have had a few more. I made sure to get RSVPs from folks so I could pivot to a different location and cancel, if necessary. We ended up having 11 folks total in our party, so it worked out. The Bryant sent me a text the day before the reservation to ask that we keep the reservation limited to 2 hours or less (this would have been nice to know when I had booked ~3 weeks prior). Move to the day of: I got there around 20 minutes early thinking they could seat me at the table, if it was ready, or at least seat me right at 6 pm, since that was the time the reservation was for. The hostess informed me that they would not seat me until at least half of my party was there; so, I went to the bar area and had a drink while I waited for other folks to arrive. The bar staff was friendly and prompt. I closed out my tab for the one drink and moved back to the hostess area around 5:50, when I expected other folks to start arriving. I sat on the couch, and the first few folks started trickling in. I informed them of what I was told, and we waited until there were 7 of us there before I approached and told the hostess that over half of us were present (around 5:59). There was another woman at the hostess stand, whom I'm assuming was a manger with the way she was moving about the establishmen, who asked me when I expected the rest of our party to arrive. I told her I expected everyone there within a few minutes. She informed me that they would start getting waters on the table and then they would seat us. I found this a little odd; but, it wasn't a deal breaker. We ended up being seated about 10 minutes after our reservation was scheduled for. Again, I am flexible and understand that plans might need adjustments from time to time. Maybe they hadn't put the tables together yet, for all I knew. We got seated and the waitress got our drink and appetizer orders in. The waitress did a good job taking care of the large party and did what I needed her to with the bill (splitting it into two bills). Our food was delicious and the drinks were good. She was observant and was quick to get boxes for us as meals were finished. There were a couple desserts ordered: they arrived quickly and were delicious. Plates were being cleared around 7:50. A few folks may have wanted to order another drink or two; however, the lady manager proceeded to stop at our table around 7:53 to tell us they had another reservation at 8 and we needed to leave. Had they not delayed seating us and gave us a full 2 hours, I likely would not be leaving this review. I found the management rude for the amount of money that they were making in the hour and 45 minutes that we were there (over $550 was spent). In my opinion, kicking customers out of a dining establishment is not a good way to keep business. Although the wait staff and food was overall good, I do not intend on booking another group event at The Bryant: nor can I recommend it to anyone looking to book larger group events.”

“They were the only place open for ramen on New Year's Eve, I really enjoyed the veggie option. So thankful for a good vegetarian option, the portion sizes were enormous, and the people were very friendly. Food was prepared quickly, would definitely visit again.”

“Rich kid green views, top tier service, ideal location for pulling in after the eighteenth hole, and menu is tiny but that's probably what these basic white people need! Us three loved the unique margarita but couldn't find any flavors in the rum punch. At these prices would assume the mixology doesn't play around, forgiven for a new place getting its groove on. I did burnt ends, others loaded up with sliders and French dip sandwich. Of course the sizing and calorie count is well under the pennies spent. Prices are as expected for valet offered and snazzy buttoned up caddies wondering around. I don't see myself here again on purpose to spend my own bucks given many better values and bigger menus near campus like my all-time pick Town and Gown, accommodating Christos, and splendid Redseven, but this is going to be the hole in one for many!”

“Taste is a mom-and-pop Chinese shop and the food is reasonably authentic. I love their fish fragrant eggplant, duck, big plate chicken, brisket, all of their spicy-numb fish soups, etc. I would say that they haven't accurately recreated every recipe specific to the region of China that originally produced it, and instead everything has their local flair to it, but that's incredibly normal for restaurants actually IN China, much less overseas. I'm rating their service high because they deserve to have top ratings, but keep in mind that service at an authentic Chinese restaurant should consist of taking your order, bringing you your food and drinks, and that's about it.”

“Nice coffee shop in the Memorial Union. However, I wasn't too impressed with the espresso, I did see the beans in the grinder hopper were oily - this indicates a dark roast. I am personally not a fan of dark roasts as you lose origin characteristics and risk a bitter / smoky taste. Quite better than Starbucks though (Starbucks espressos are just disgusting, period).

I know, dark roast is what most people are accustomed to. Until they try a medium roast and suddenly a whole burst of new flavors hit the palate (fruity, acidic, walnut, chocolaty, etc.). And I also know most people forego the basic espresso and go for lattes, cappuccinos and other drinks. For milk drinks, a dark roast is just fine as it brings a good color contrast.

I still wish more places would go with medium roasts. I tried Joe and the Juice in Palo Alto and their espresso was tasty - sweet, fruity, creamy.”

Having such a warm and welcoming environment like this so close to Purdue's campus is really great! Kenna was our server. If we could give her 10 stars we would have! She did a great job of giving us friendly and timely service and keeping our coffee cups full! She was cheerful, kind and welcoming without being intrusive.. Grateful for Kenna's great service!”

“The best burger I've ever had in my entire life! I got the Bernie Flowers All Pro, with no cheese and swap the miracle whip for mayo. This is my second time eating here and I can't wait to go back. The root beer is a must-get. And they serve it in a frozen glass too. I got the onion rings as a side and they were perfect. Both times I went there we had no wait and it was during the busy time of day. The food comes out so fast and everything tastes so fresh. I don't think I can ever eat a burger anywhere else again after eating here. Definitely bringing my friends here when they come visit me in West Lafayette!”

I finally got to have malatang here for the first time in almost a year.
The price was affordable, and I really enjoyed the food.
The only downside is that there isn’t much table space, and most of the seating is set up for individuals, so it might be a bit difficult for a larger group to sit and eat together.”

“This is my wife and I’s favorite restaurant in the Greater Lafayette area. #1!! We regularly go for brunch. Drinks are amazing. Out door seating area is very nice. I’ve never had an unpleasant experience here and have even had conversations with other patrons while enjoying the patio area.”

“We found this gem during our visit to West Lafayette and definitely one of the best ice creams we had. The ice creams tasted so fresh and amazing taste. They got more than 30 flavors and lot of items to choose from. They dont offer samples, but the scoops are generous. We can see lot of locals out there. The store is well maintained and clean. The staff is friendly and patient. It is 15 to 20 minutes' drive from Lafayette hotel area but definitely worth the drive.
Sufficient parking shared with other shops on this small strip mall. They have indoor and outdoor seating too. Perfect stop for a hot day and grab an ice cream!! Definitely worth trying this spot dont miss out.”

“I was pleasantly surprised, from the sign I expected a chicken sandwich place! But it’s more like a blend of Asian foods specializing in hot pots or stews of a blend of flavors and ingredients. They also have skewered meats and ice cream desserts.
We had a hot pot and split it. The soup was a miso base with a rich flavor. Rice is served on the side or you can upcharge to something else.
Overall it was satisfying, inexpensive by splitting it, and a calm break and good food.”

“Went while at the Mosey. Decided on a chocolate cake and cherry cake. They looked perfect in the case. When they were put in the bag they reached for a lower shelf so I didn't see them grab them. When got home and the grandkids came over and wanted a donut the cherry was in 2 pieces. Funny thing it didn't even fit together. Like the pieces were from a different donut and the Chocolate was in 6 pieces. Who picks defective donuts for someone and doesn't even ask? I won't be going back. Photos in comments.”

Staff was great had a little problem but they fixed it quickly and went above and beyond what was necessary. Loved our hot honey pepperoni breadsticks and the pizzas we got. Can’t wait to be back for other options to try. Grabbed some gelato to go and it was great too. If there was one in Fishers we would be in trouble”

“Divine! Taro milk tea is so good, match ube fantastic, above average ingredients, fresh milk and tangy fruit juices, that grape mixer, wild! It should be five, no, ten stars! But can't, they have some real issues to fix. WIFI is limited to one hour, why is that? How silly dumb to cut off internet with these prices on a college campus where homework never takes less than an hour. The parking costs money too here during the weekdays until seven. Imagine paying for two hours parking then find your internet only goes half that. It's a joke. Prices are obnoxious with these extra problems. I'm a massive fan of the purple drink, grape and yogurt, really nice. Thai tea isn't as good as their Kinn neighbor or other tea places but Oreo tea, Match cold brew, and ube is fantastic. Halloween specialty drink is nearly eight bucks yet tiny. Doesn't taste that great either, oreo, Thai tea, and ube? It's a pretty looking beverage but impossible to mix in the small container, milk foam sits on the top, not a win. Fix that WIFI and maybe try blackberry, Thai tea, and that tasty white foam on top. Also why no personal cup discount? There should be a substantial dollar benefit bringing in my own container to reduce waste, ease your trash and business overhead, and most importantly: motivate loyalty! Bringing in a personal cup shows I am serious and want to become so frequent every staff member recognizes me. That's what I'm getting at here with these three issues. Feng Cha needs to step up its game and act the prices it charges so Purdue can fully embrace this place.”

“I live nearby to this Chinese restaurant and have done pick up for my family of 8 a couple dozen times or more over the years. They have good and very good food depending on what you order and although inflation has made them seemingly a bit pricey every restaurant that I have gone to has gone up, so I will say it has "relatively" good pricing. They are friendly and have always accommodated our orders for non-spicy (kids) and no sesame (allergy in the family). They are one of the three locals we frequent and my favorite of the three.”

“The Purdue Mellos ordered Breakfast for their recent pregame tailgate. 24 orders. Ordering in advance was super easy and the staff and management was super accommodating of vegetarian and allergy orders. So many options to choose from. Pick up no problem either as our order was ready and not one item wrong or missing. It is often hard to find a place to order so early as we had a 9 am start time. We highly recommend The Country Cafe... West Lafayette. We will be back again~”

Before visiting, it was a little confusing to try figuring out how this location worked and what to expect.All Wined Down is connected to All Fired Up (two separate entrances but the same building with a door connecting the two inside).You can choose to visit the "All Fired Up" side of the business and only paint your ceramic piece or you can pick out your piece and sit on the "All Wined Down" side and enjoy wine (by the bottle or glass) and/or cheese platters while you paint your ceramic piece.We arrived on a Saturday as soon as All Wined Down opened, and spent 3 hours there (the time flies by). Unfortunately, they had sold out of the cheese plates the night before so we were unable to buy any food. There is a selection of wine (sadly no beer) that is decently priced.It would have been nice to see a partnership with local wineries and breweries (for example Wildcat and Thieme and Wagner Brewing Co).There is a large selection of ceramic items to choose from and every color you could think of for your creations. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable and you don't feel rushed to complete your piece.Items are ready a week later and they will hold them for several months in case you aren't able to return that quickly to the area.It also would be nice to have the option of high top tables for those customers who are taller, so you don't have to hunch over the table for such a long time.Overall, a great experience and we will be returning with friends to create more pieces.”

In the future, I might name my children after these dishes so that when inevitably a curious person asks why they are named what they’re named, I can go into detail about how wonderful the food was at my dorm grill. As I do this, my dear children, katsu and g-tso, will look on proudly. This team was obviously very busy but they busted their butts and executed on our very large, last-minute order very efficiently and courteously. Vegan options are amazing and once they realized it was my granddaughter’s birthday, they brought her out a complimentary cookie! Great group! Great experience!

“extremely average, not always great quality, but it’s open late and after a night out i’d ALWAYS rather have asian food over pizza, or even the taco truck.

i’ve gotten food from here a LOT as a purdue student. the beef and broccoli and mongolian beef are solid. the sesame chicken i usually crave more, but it’s a bit more hit and miss (there can be way too much breading sometimes). the lo mien/fried udon/chow mee fun are all very decent, for americanized asian food. the pad thai is below average. the fried rice is barely okay as a side in a combo meal, but definitely don’t get it as your main entree. the chicken and broccoli isn’t really my thing (it’s too salty) but i’ve only tried it once.

the service is good and the food is out pretty quick. overall, i’d say this place is equal to/better than panda express (i think this place makes your entrees fresh, unlike panda express), but it’s definitely, definitely worse than any sit-down asian restaurant in the area.

i only come here when it’s past 1am. but i’m always thankful it exists when i need it.”

“Possibly the best Chinese restaurant in town right now. Their menu is on the traditional side with lots of spicy dishes but there's still plenty to keep the more American-Chinese palate happy (I recommend the beef lo mein!) I ordered lamb with veggies not sure what to expect but was surprised and thrilled by how delicious it was! And the fried dumplings are spectacular, tho I wish they came with dumpling sauce. Absolutely worth the money.”

While waiting for my coffee I realized I forgot my safety pin to make sure my outfit was a bit more church friendly. “We avoided the lines. We came for the lore. Creaky, cramped wooden seats, the venerable relics, the carved names, the floor trap door, the boat on the ceiling. The friendly wait staff said the drinks were cheap and we should try the fried banana peppers. Phenomenal.”

“I came in expecting a drink and left with a life experience—thanks to Kearston.

First of all, I’m convinced Kearston doesn’t *make* drinks, she performs them. There was shaking, spinning, possibly some light wizardry… I’m still not sure. I ordered something simple and somehow got handed a masterpiece that tasted like it had a backstory and a soundtrack.

Not only is she ridiculously good at what she does, but she’s also hilarious. At one point I laughed so hard I almost forgot to sip my drink—which should be illegal given how good it was.

She remembered everyone’s orders, kept the vibe going, and somehow made the whole bar feel like a friend group instead of strangers. Honestly, if Kearston ran for president of bartending, I’d campaign.

10/10 drinks, 11/10 personality. Give her a raise, a trophy, and maybe her own fan club.”

“Huge shout out to the young lady whose name I did not catch! As I pulled into 7Brew, I was almost in a car accident by someone else who was also coming to the same location. I got up to place my order, and she asked how my day was and I was visibly shaken and told her I was almost in an accident. She was so compassionate and was so patient with me as I was catching my breath and placing my order. She gave me my order on the house, and made sure my drinks were taken extra special care of by writing “7brew loves you” on my drinks. That turned my entire night around, and made my experience amazing. So thank you to the young lady who did that for me!!!! You went above and beyond! (If I happen to catch her name when I go back today, I will update so she gets the recognition she deserves!!)”

“Pizza is good, breadsticks are okay, cheesesticks are alright. Pizza has always been good and service has been extremely quick and friendly. The breadsticks have been the biggest letdown every time though. It feel like they were frozen/baked in the morning and kept in a hot unit all day.”
