The Mexican ice cream shop is a pretty good spot to treat yourself. It is located in the heart of Whitting. I stopped here on my way to the Mascot Hall of Fame. It is also by the beach. There is free street parking on the street in front of the shop. The shop is very clean and has a small dining area, with Mexican music playing in the background. This is definitely the best ice cream shop in NWI, plenty of different flavors of Mexican style soft serve and paletas. Corn in a cup / on a stick with a twist (cheetos) and tons of other treats. Don't go to BR or DQ, try this place and I know you won't be disappointed.
