“IXXA is truly one of the best coffee shops in NWI. The atmosphere is welcoming, and has a very chill and calm vibe. The coffee and tea drinks are all absolutely excellent. My personal favorite is the honey latte. They also have pastries in the morning and there is a reason they normally sell out early. The ham and cheese is my favorite Friday treat. The plants that they have sitting around are all for sale. They are priced very reasonably, and the owners will give you tips when you take one home. I love bringing new friends in whenever they are in town to see how cute and perfect IXXA is!”

“Really a hidden gem. Everything is excellent. Limited hours and limited days open are really the only downside here. I'd recommend making a reservation in advance, but they are very accommodating if they have room. Good value for the service and quality, but not "cheap". Had the surf and turf this time, and the lobster was great. Something on the menu for everyone.”

“The Standard Taproom is an absolute NECESSITY for craft beer lovers! The large rotating craft beer selection means there is something for everyone. The bartenders are all extremely knowledgeable and (in my experience) will make it a personal quest to find something even my Grandpa likes. Every experience I have had at the Standard Taproom has been stellar.They don't have a kitchen but will gladly give you an excellent recommendation for a local spot that will deliver straight to your seat.The décor makes you feel at home, and they have several board games. It's a great place to bring a first date or a group of old friends! And the bathrooms are honestly one of the nicest public restrooms I have ever seen.Put The Standard Taproom on your list of places to go. You will NOT be disappointed!!”

“The best restaurant in town! Everything is made fresh from scratch and is so delicious. The key lime pie is homemade and awesome! The fish sticks and jerk nachos are my favorites! “I recently went to Richway Gyros after having a terrible experience at another hotdog place down the road in Chicago. So glad I found this place. The food is delicious and the customer service is awesome! Kudos to the staff. They know how to treat customers with respect! The prices are reasonable. What’s even better is that the offer a rewards program. I will definitely be back!”

“Breakfast dishes are pretty good, Mexican entrees could be better. Big place with lots of room to breathe. Their veggie skillet is very good. It's basically hashbrowns with chopped veggies, but it has an excellent flavor. My grandson insists on us coming here because he loves their chocolate chip mickey mouse pancakes. But he also really likes their chicken tenders. Their fries have great texture, but they taste like they were cooked in bad fry oil. My daughter likes their chilaquiles. I would say they are good, but I've had better. They overcook the bacon till its almost burned ( every time...its weird).”

“Pretty cool little spot, drive by it hundreds of times. Stopped in for a quick drink, bartender was nice, very helpful and speedy, the crowd doesn't pick up till late but everyone was friendly and sociable. I'll be stopping by again that's for sure.”

“This place has been around for a while it's a really great neighborhood bar and they have delicious food here always good service. Plus they have bingo once a week in the back and that's a good time to give away a little prizes and stuff like I said it's just a really cool neighborhood bar no trouble here or anything you can bring a date here you can bring your mom here for a drink if you wanted to and still feel good about it.”

The kid’s meals were adorable in a little special box with a toy. The decor and ambiance was great. It was a little confusing walking in not knowing if we should seat ourselves or that we had to head straight to the back to order and then sit, but we figured it out! “Been here a couple of times, portions are huge. They easily accommodated my request of adding veggies to my Cajun Alfredo instead of meat...really enjoyed. The chicken club sandwich needed a lot of help as the chicken was overly cooked and dry.”
