Stopped for lunch passing through Baxter Springs. Bricks & Brews Woodfire Grill and Pub proved to be a good choice. Typical small town establishment with good home cooked food, 9 commercial beers on tap, and friendly locals enjoying lunch and a beer. Server was efficient, food came promptly, and the beer was cold. Portions were generous. We enjoyed the Cavatappi Pasta and Greek Salad.

This happened last year but I never did leave a review for it but thought I would now. We were looking for a place to eat because we had drove on Rte 66 for half the day and needed some food. Found this place on Google maps so thought we would try it. We got a custom pizza which was pretty good. It was bigger than I expected so we took left overs. Well, while we were waiting for the food to come out a waitress came up to us and grabbed my girlfriends hair and said she had nice hair. Now the problem isn't the compliment but the fact the waitress came up to my girlfriend and touched her hair without even asking first. If you know my girlfriend, you know that she barely and I mean barely let's anyone including me touch her hair due to being native American and the cultural significance of one's hair. The food was good but that one thing kind of ruined the whole experience for us. Never really seen anyone just come up and touch her hair like that.

Bricks & Brews.. hands down is the BEST Wood Fired Brick Oven PIZZA PIE in the 4-States Area..!!!! "The Crust is Amazingly Spectacular too" and enjoy in a Fun Eclectic Atmosphere.. Excellent Bartenders and Wait Staff, Great Live Music in the evenings.. and on Route 66.. what are you waiting for..Just Tell-m "Banzai" sent you.! : )

Such a nice place. Delicious pizza and good beer. And it's right on Route 66. Very clean and the servers are friendly and helpful.
