“I love these types of Chinese stops that are small, non-buffet, and freshly made. Prices are reasonable and my take-out was finished in ten minutes as a walk-in on a busy Friday. Excellent! I'll add that I only order meatless dishes. The orange tofu, vegetable delight, and vegetable lo mein are my top picks. My husband loves the pork wontons.“
“I have been to this location several times now. The majority of the staff are very polite and helpful. Some of the cooks may need to learn to be more friendly toward customers. The food itself hasn't disappointed even once, it has been consistent every time I go in. I will continue to go to this location for the friendly staff and food. Thank you and keep up the good work.“
“I stopped in for the first time on November 22, 2020, and I’m asking WHY didn’t I ever stop here before!? The food was great, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top notch! I opted for the duck with mixed vegetables, and not only was the duck cooked to perfection, the vegetables were expertly prepared. The mushrooms, in particular, were outstanding, as though they were treated like their own food group! I’m definitely returning, and if you haven’t stopped in for some of the best Chinese food, I strongly recommend you do so!“
“The prices are reasonable and they had great portion sizes! My pick up order was ready on time. I ordered the general Tso's tofu. The flavor was pretty good but it wasn't spicy to me. I'm excited to go back and find a spicier dish!“
“OMG! This is my second time eating the food here and it's perfect! Spareribs are juicy and not dry or overcooked like other places.Sweet and sour pork was crispy and tender. We have the spicy garlic beef a few nights ago and it tasted like garlic beef that was tender.I'm from Chicago so it's hard to find places that actually know how to prepare Chinese food. Lucky Star does it the way it's supposed to be.I highly recommend this place if you haven't been there yet. Go you won't be disappointed.“
“Very fast service, huge portions and at a great price! My wife and I got our food in less than ten minutes after placing our order. (All orders are to go) Two full dinner meals for less than $25 she got Chicken Lo Mein and I got Mu Shu Pork- and they were both delicious! We’re definitely coming back here!“
“I ordered the Springfield Cashew Chicken with some eggrolls and Crab Rangoon. Overall the food was good, though there were two things that could have been done better:1. The sauce could have been packaged separately from the chicken, preventing it from becoming soggy.2. The sweet and sour sauce was cold. Not “sat on the counter for an hour” cold, more like “sat all day in the fridge” cold. This was definitely unexpected, and not in a positive way.Overall, a solid choice for Chinese food in Olathe.“
“Always enjoy our time here. Staff are top notch as always. Wishing that there were still the "normal" interactions with the staff, however. For some reason the same "restrictions" put in place during the covid scare are still in place, even though there is no need (ordering and payment via phone, rather than directly with staff). Still our favorite Asian restaurant. Food and staff are always amazing.“
“All the food was so fresh and tasteful. The biggest crab rangoon we've ever seen. The cashew chicken was not overly saucy and so many nuts, big portions. The fried dumplings and sauce were so good. Egg drop soup was excellent. Highly recommended and we will be coming back!“
“Walked in and was greeted immediately by a friendly waitress. My egg drop soup was on the table, hot, and delicious in less than a minute from placing my order. Just as I was finishing my soup, the poke bowl arrived. It was perfect! I would definitely come back for a quick bite anytime. Don’t expect a fancy “dress up” dining experience. It’s a clean and casual place to get a quick bite to eat. The quality is worth the $17 spent (+$6-tip).“
