This is probably the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. So far, I’ve been here twice. Once was back during the grand opening, when they hadn’t had things quite figured out. Back then, it felt kinda like a fast food restaurant. They didn’t have any real dishes, just styrofoam to-go boxes. There were a lot of problems, but I had felt they had a lot of potential. Borrego was very professional and made sure I was taken care of while I was there. The tacos El pastor were excellent and tasted great. Borrego recommended the chimi cheesecake and it was fantastic.
This place is literally the best, as soon as my family of 5 got in there we were given 2 options to sit upstairs or downstairs immediately! Even though there were only 2 waiters, only 2 minutes passed until we got complimentary chips and salsa. After that, the waiters gave us a perfectly reasonable time to think about what we wanted to eat.
