“WHAT a fun experience - I never tried Poke before, and the flavor on the kale/coconut rice base was amazing. The sushi was off the charts! I had 1/2 Asian BBQ and 1/2 cajun. Incredible. Unlimited Miso soup was a nice touch. They also have a hot food choice for the bowls. I will be back and bring a carload! :)“

I would’ve definitely ordered from the lunch menu, had I known there was one (a worthy mention from the host would have been stellar). That way, I would’ve received a dish of soup that was not offered on the dinner combination.“

“We don't usually come around KC Downtown/Westport areas, but we had a chance to try some new food around here today. From outside, it doesn't look very fancy. From inside, it looks like a very standard sushi place. We walked in around 1:50pm, which they only had two other recommends occupied by then. Their kitchen was lightening FAST and the quality of the food is superior! Highly recommend the Cha Shu Noodle Soup, Eel Rolls, and Yang Sho Fried Rice!!!!! Wow, we will definitely be back soon when around this area again.“

Appetizers: Taiwanese fried chicken (the seasoning on this was an incredible balance of Chinese 5 spice, red pepper, sesame, and salt/pepper. We LOVED this app) Dumplings - pork and cabbage, beef and kimchi, taro and Shiitake (next time, instead of a side of brown rice, I would order all pickled veggie sides) Entrees: 2 - Dan Dan noodles with pork belly side, Taiwanese beef noodle soup, and baos: gua & tofu (not pictured) I highly recommend making a reservation and visiting this gem (located in Westport). “I thought it was a different Sake's that relocated until I did not see the blue crab roll on the menu. I decided to stay. Everything was prepared right and tasted really good. I dined solo and was able to watch the chef craft sushi rolls. The creek tea was hot and invigorating. The calamari was well seasoned and crisp. You should try it!!!“

“We’ve only had takeout from here. The staff is always friendly and very organized and aware of orders. I have yet to have a meal I didn’t like and we have ordered at least five different times (lunch and dinner). They are quick and the food is always hot and fresh. I have not had the sushi yet but plan to for the next visit. The interior is a bit dated but that is. Common across many restaurants in KC. Great job Chopstix! Highly recommend!“
“This place is great! We ordered the chicken pad Thai, Szechuan chicken, steamed dumplings, and we got combos so they came with egg drop soup, crab rangoon, and a drink! The portions are very large and the food is great! The szechuan chicken was not spicy and was more sweet(probably based on their usual clientele), however it tasted really good. We will definitely order again and just ask for extra spicy. The chicken pad Thai was delicious and the cook is very generous with the chicken. The dumplings were very flavorful and meaty. The crab rangoon were ? fresh and came out HOT (which is awesome). The egg drop soup was honestly the most surprising because it was so good. It was extremely rich and eggy in the best possible way. Honestly, I would have been happy with just the soup and dumplings and call it a happy day; instead, we stuffed ourselves and still left with leftovers. I also like how chill the vibes were inside. It's not fancy, and it's clean and quiet, so it's relaxing. The prices also cannot be beat.“
“This has been my favorite place to go for a banh mi for years now. The owners are lovely, and the food comes out perfectly every time.Recently, I went in for my usual, but for the first time, got a fried egg added to it. I'm glad I got it to go, because when I finally tore into it, I did so in an admittedly graceless and near trancelike fashion, focused on nothing but the quickly vanishing sandwich clutched in a thin paper sheet. In the minutes after finishing it, I sat there for a little bit, doing nothing else, as if restarting from having been factory reset; I only half-joke that it fixed something about me.It has been two days since then. All I can think about is that sandwich. I will be going in for another soon. I will be adding the fried egg. I recommend, insist, even, that you do the same.“
“Came here for my brothers birthday & it was good! We got a variation of things, but to name a few, we ordered the crab rangoon, pad Thai, and seafood fried rice. All tasted great along with the fruit punch! Service was spectacular. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful.
