“Food was so good and the service was friendly, if you haven't tried salvadorean food before this is a good place to start. We went for breakfast, the pupusas and salvadorean breakfast plate with eggs was delicious. Less than $20 for 2 people. The inside was kind of grungy and lacking in ambience, this is more of a working class/ construction worker place, which means the food is good, but don't expect white table cloths. Definitely check it out!“
“We came here for the Pupusas, a favorite Salvadoran dish! They had so many filling options for the Pupusas and they were all delicious! Make sure to ask for the salsas to go with, but beware, they pack some HEAT! Service was very nice and the atmosphere quite festive!“
“These tamales are some of the best I've ever had - and I've had them in all three of the Americas. Don't be surprised if they run out on Saturdays because I see people carrying them out by the sackfux and boxes. They sell them by the dozen. Carnitas too. All the food is good. Yes I've had everything on the menu. The Pupusas are authentic El Salvador. Great value for the price. Quintessential hole in the wall with six booths. There is a park behind it so we usually get our food and go over there to the farmers market or just take a walk. This is truly mom and pop so if you have a big order, do them a favor and call ahead. And do the rest of us a favor by calling ahead because if you take everything they have made for the day then they won't have any left for me!“
“Our favorite place to go to for authentic Mexican tacos and authentic Salvadorean pupusas. Everything is super flavorful, always want more but can’t fit it anywhere else! We’ve tried other Salvadorean places that have opened recently and none compare to this one.“
“The service, atmosphere, food, vibe here is the Next Level for me?We ordered beans & cheese pupusas, cheese & jalapeno pupusas, beef soup, chimichanga & platanos solo and 2 different empanadas (Corn & Flour). The plantains was cooked to perfection. The soup was delicious with cabbage, zucchini, yuca, and juicy beef & oxtail. Our server checked on us every 30 mins. Our bill was only $58 for all we ordered. The cheapest Salvadoran food bill I had with the BEST experience ‼️?“
“Food is always freshly made, it stays hot even during the ride home.I've been here at least 20 times in the past 4 years, my order has never been wrong even when I call ahead and order over the phone, these are the best pupusas I have found out here since moving from Cali to Kansas City.“
“First, the food is excellent! I mean, that’s why we go to a place, right? To eat? And the food is wonderful, fresh, authentic, recipes, and very, very tasty. The service, is mediocre. The atmosphere is less than desirable. There is always loud music, which is distracting. The pupusa’s are the best you’ll find in town. The chicken soup meal is wonderful. The guacamole has a unique recipe. That includes hard boiled eggs. They put hard boiled eggs on a lot of things. The prices are fair, but the menu quoted the house salad as $3.50, but charged me $4.50 for it. I often get meals to go from this place just because the atmosphere in the service is not the best. But you have to be careful taking at home, because the packaging is not always secure. Did I say the food is excellent? Yes it is. Excellent!“
“Visited after seeing the article in the Star. They did not disappoint. Wife had the combo platter & I had the fish soup. Tons of food, ALL spot-on...the flavors were great, the heat just right! The waitress was perfect, service & speed was excellent.“
