The yellow curry was great except for the chunks of potatoes the size of lifeboats from the Titanic. Portion size was small. The fried pot stickers were really good though.

I usually love this place, the food is amazing. The lack of staff I think has caused almost a burn out of the waitress since she was the only one there. She was fairly rude about me picking up an order that was said to be ready at 5:44 and it’s 6 and I just asked what the eta was told there were 10 people ahead of me and it’ll be ready when it’s ready.

I tend to judge Thai places by thier basil fried rice. Let me begin by saying thiers is excellent. I also tom yum ka, which was wonderful. The fresh spring rolls were texturally perfect. No complaints here. Everything was lovely.

Their food is really good. I would get their food a lot more if their packaging was less awful. Its a ton of styrofoam. I got rice that was wrapped in plastic and then put in styrofoam.

It would be nice if you would update your hours on Facebook and Google. I parked and walked there with a crutch for lunch to find only a sign on the door saying they’re only open 3-9 due to short staffing.

Baan Thai is the best and most authentic South East Asian food in Kansas. After living and working in Myanmar/Thailand/Laos for a few years, I was worried I would never find an amazing papaya salad, khao soi, or larp gai after moving Kansas but I was wrong! Leo and the Baan Thai staff make you feel like you are among family. Try the margaritas - you won’t be sorry ?

Ordered pickup for a date and the man at the register was so so so friendly and funny, he made extra sure he spelled the name for the order correctly for future reference which was very kind (and a great business strategy haha!) I have never eaten thai food before and he explained to me how the chefs serve the most authentic experience and helped walk me through it. Loved it! Delicious food and extremely friendly staff. Give these kind servers and chefs big raises for being so stellar and working hard during this pandemic!

Ok. Lawrence has tons of Asian restaurant choices, but you must try this place. Best food I've had in Lawrence. Their spicy papaya salad is awesome. The Tom Ka Gai soup is amazing. Super nice staff too!!
