This is probably my favorite spot to have a drink in Lawrence as of now. Definitely more of mature vibe and less of a college bar. Everyone here is always really chill and they got 2$ PBR on tap which is dope.

Book club meetings are the best here - great drinks and excellent service make it a great place to chat.
They severed me an extremely watered down drink then insulted my ID asking every question possible even though I am 49, never going back made me very uncomfortable. They also have no TVs and the vibe was terrible, would be happy if they went out if business. The sand bar was right next door and treated me with great kindness.

An eclectic crowd can be found here. It's not a frat bar at all and is a great place to hang late night. The basement is a dance club on the weekends. The drinks are reasonably priced, especially since I live in Chicago.
