Excellent food and drinks, great service, and atmosphere. It is expensive, but definitely an enjoyable experience. Selection of craft beers rotates, and usually includes some really good options. The menu is slightly limited in options, would recommend reviewing it prior to going, so you know if there is something there you would like to eat. But everything on the menu we have tried is delicious. Can be crowded on the weekends and during nice weather. Not a huge selection of liquor, but has all of the standard options (I would have loved an 18 year old Speyside Scotch to go with my dinner, had to settle on a martini instead).Kid-friendliness: I would say this is not a kid friendly location. I have seen kids, but the vibe is more "adult" and classy. Think "place I would take a date that has low lights and conversations over drinks where we share a dessert."

Okay, first of all, our server, Arthur, was amazing. Huge shout out to you if you see this!Second, this is the perfect place to bring a celiacs or gluten-free / gluten-sensitive date. They have a lot of actual menu options and people who can't eat gluten have real options here, and not just the usual "doesn't happen to have gluten" stuff in it. My celiacs spouse had a burger for the first time in years and didn't get sick.Third, wonderful ambiance and atmosphere. This is a fantastic place to celebrate an important day or accomplishment.Again, can't stress this enough, Arthur was great.

What a lovely find. Super service and deliciously different food. Perfect for a nice lunch. Tacos, soup and goat cheese dip all wonderful. Thanks

Really nice upscale restaurant (without being overly fancy). Remodeled former bank with multi level seating. The food is really good, as is their craft beer selection (around 30 rotating taps). They also have a full bar, if craft beer is not what you're into. This is a very popular spot so it's a good idea to have a reservation. The service is always very good - friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. I had dinner with my son there earlier this week and we both enjoyed the Short Rib dish. Great place to go if you're in the heart of Laurence (Mass Street) and want a really good meal or to just grab a great beer at the bar.

I liked the atmosphere and the building is super cool. I always get the special and it's always great. Only downside is it's pretty expensive for what it is

Came here for a birthday brunch on a Saturday and absolutely loved our experience!! Service is fantastic and super attentive. The interior is super bright with a ton of natural lighting and a modern farmhouse feel. There is a wide variety of fun menu items for everyone to enjoy. We started with the Truffle Goat Cheese Dip, Bee Stings, and Brussel Sprouts (which they are famous for!). All were absolutely delicious! I ordered the chorizo and sweet potato hash and added avocado and it was delicious! We also had two of us get their breakfast burrito and OMG that was delicious!! Definitely a great spot for brunch!! Will be returning!

Food was amazing. Got the Brussels sprouts, pork burnt ends, and deviled eggs apps and all were so good. Great atmosphere too.

Wonderful. Love the building itself. Such a beautiful set up. Staff was very welcoming. Ordered the Pear Pressure and Winter Sangria; they did not disappoint. I loved the Brussel sprouts!! Enjoyed the salmon bruchetta and I added 2 poached eggs on the side. Our experience was lovely. This place won't disappoint.

I am a little conflicted about this place. But maybe they had an "off" night as it was quite busy Saturday night, and there was a rather frantic energy about the whole establishment. The building is very beautiful which makes for a nice atmosphere. We sat at a teeny corner table under a television. The table was facing the wall which was odd and awkward which took away from the overall experience because we had our backd to the restaurant. It was crowded and we felt a bit cramped, so my husband and I just made the best of it, and decided to be cozy and enjoy ourselves pretending to be in our own little nook. However, in an establishment where dinner plates cost nearly $40 each and an "elevated" dining experience is expected, these types of seating situations should not even be an option. Our server was very personable, professional, and nice. But it was clear that he was very busy, and attending to many guests on his own, so the service was rather slow which I cannot blame the gentleman for, but still I needs to be noted. We ordered the deviled eggs. They came on a bed of some type of bacon relish, which had a rather off-putting gamey flavor. The eggs themselves were delicious though. My husband ordered the braised beef, and it was sublime. I ordered from the restaurant week 3 course meal menu. I had the braised beef empanada, shrimp gnocchi and the coconut tres leches cake. The empanada came with kimchi, and I loved the different flavors and tastes of this little dish. The gnocchi dish was rather uninspired. The shrimp was quite chewy, but the texture of the gnocchi was perfect. The dish was just okay. The tresh leches cake was perfection in every way.Overall, the experience was not what I expected it would be for a restaurant of this caliber. It has all the makings of a place that can deliver an extraordinary dining experience. But last night, they fell just a bit shor of achieving that. I believe I will go back once more on a less busy night and give it another chance for dinner.

The empanada was just like one zi had many years ago at Annie's Santa Fe on the plaza. I was delighted to find it again. The Shrimp Gnocchi came out cool and was heated up by the waitress. The Voconut Trres Lechie was not too sweet which was great in my wirld.

I just had this year's Restaurant Week at Merchants; honestly, it was very disappointing. We have attended Restaurant Week here for the last three years, and this year was different from the others. I had the Short Rib Empanada, Thai Brined Pork Tenderloin, and the Cappuccino Chocolate Mousse. My wife had The Short Rib Empanada, Tuscan Fried Chicken, and the blueberry clafoutis. The short Rib Empanada was delicious, and I would recommend it. As for the second course, My Thai Pork Tenderloin, it was good but nothing too special, and my wife's second, to be honest, was one of the worst mains ever. The chicken had little to no taste, and what they call a winter panzanella is far from what it is. They should have explained in detail what their version was on the menu because it was like a fruit cup with mushy bread. My wife is picky about fruit and wouldn't eat more than a small bite. I love fruit and still wanted nothing to do with it. My second explained that it had pineapple in it which it had a very small amount, but for my wife's second to be half a plate of mushy fruit with wet bread and not mention it, it was pretty bad. For the dessert, my wife really enjoyed her blueberry clafoutis, and my Cappuccino Chocolate Mousse was just alright. We usually are blown away by Merchant's food at Restaurant Week but left very disappointed and can't stop talking about my wife's entree.
