PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE! I got food poisoning from eating nigiri from here. This was the only thing I ate that my husband did not and only I got sick. I already thought that our meal there yesterday was the worst sushi I’ve ever had due to the quality. The mackerel nigiri felt fibrous- almost like cooked fish. I’m pretty sure it was old. The salmon roe was like salmon roe raisins, they were so shriveled. Either they froze and thawed them repeatedly or the roe was old.I really cannot stress enough the food was HORRIBLE and I am not the type to make a fuss- look at the rest of my reviews. I am no Karen. I’ve eaten cheap sushi from the grocery store that was 10x better than anything we ate at Wa. I don’t know if their supply chain is messed up right now or what, but serving spoiled food is unacceptable. If the poor girl working there wasn’t the only person working during Saturday lunch we would’ve said something. But she was already overworked. I’m so upset I had to spend money on this garbage. Wa used to be good and has been given good reviews recently so I’m so confused.Edit to add: I called to see if I could get a refund. I wanted the server to still get paid, but I wanted a refund for everything but the tip. The manager wanted proof, like a prescription or paperwork. I’m here on vacation, I’m not going to go to the doctor for what is clearly food poisoning.Went in with a Walgreens receipt for the OTC meds I got a cash refund. But not without the owner telling me this has never happened in 15 years and trying to surmise it must have been the spicy roll my tummy was too sensitive for

Is good! The waitress are nice and they are always around when you need. Portions are a little smaller than I thought. I'll definitely go back.

Should have listened to other people’s reviews and not gone here. Service was terrible and slow. Food was disgusting I took half a bite and couldn’t eat anymore of my $15 roll. Paid the check and left.

We have been here many times over the years and I think is one of the best Sushi places in the area. I am a bit particular about sushi and I never have any issues about this place. Fresh fish in Kansas can be a concern but they usually get it right.

The food was delicious. The iced tea was disgusting, it would do you good to wash your machine or throw out your leftover tea and not keep it till it tastes spoiled. The waitress was the rudest server I have ever encountered. I just think for the prices they charge it wouldn’t kill the waitress to fake a pleasant attitude. The hostess couldn’t have been nicer

I ordered carry out for an order of chicken teriyaki dinner & a side salad. When I got home, I discovered that I had no rice, so I called them to see what they could do about it for me. First of all, I had to call them 3 times before they would even answer the phone. Then, I was told that I could come back in toget the rice or I could get a credit for the rice. Of course I picked up my order right before they closed so there was no way that I could make it back to the restaurant before they closed. They told me that the credit would get written down on a piece of paper for the next time I came in. How can they keep track of that if this happens to multiple people? Why couldn’t they refund the rice back to my card? Safe to say I won’t be going back to this restaurant ever due to their lack of good customer service. I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. Go somewhere else for better food & customer service.

Although the salmon sashimi was very good, the rest was below par. Some of the kernels of rice in the sushi were also dry and undercooked. Not inedible, but definitely not worth the high prices. I paid $50 for one person, which is about twice what I'd have paid for better sashimi in CT or NY.

The best part of the restaurant is its service. All of the staff are polite and outstanding individuals. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately greeted, seated, and severed moments later. Everyone was masked and cleaned every surface as new customers arrived. The sushi is good, but nothing to write home about. The music selection, lighting, and styling make an ideal atmosphere for a special date or professional outing.

Half the food and almost twice the cost than other sushi places seaweed salad. For an item that is not even made in house, that's kind of a shame. But hey, it tastes good.

Had dinner there tonight for my father's birthday. For 45+ years he's been a Bento Box guy and was surprised to NOT see them offered anymore, however we figured out the menu and everything turned out great. The Teriyaki Beef & Chicken were cooked just right, the tempura was spot on (nice & hot... not greasy in any way), sushi is always good here and some cold Kirin beer. Our waitress was very polite and attentive.
