“I had not been there until today and boy have I been missing out. I had the open faced turkey sandwich. First of all, after one bite you could tell that everything was made from scratch. Secondly, the portion was HUGE. I brought half of it back home. Thirdly the staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. You could tell they have a lot of in person regulars, as well as to go orders from their regulars. I arrived at 11am and by 1115am the place had almost filled up. I will definitely be back, and thanks for a great lunch.”

Ordered a medium and she upgraded me to a large since it was my first time. Totally unexpected yet very pleasantly surprised. They also gave me a sucker too! “Bill‘s kitchen has the best gizzards I’ve ever had. When the food arrived it was hot and the gizzards were so tender and easy to eat. The flavor was wonderful. My granddaughter had the kids meal chicken tenders and they were hot and good with french fries. My sister had fried okra and she said it was really good. I recommend, Bill‘s kitchen to everyone. I give it five stars.”

“Lots of good people and I still go there despite the problems with late night dependability early closing random nights. Only problem is undependable late night hours - depending on the agenda of the bartender, sometimes closes super early. If you’re a late night person, it’s hit and miss.”

It is a small, kiosk-type building with everything but a seating area and there are usually people way too close to the building discussing inappropriate things for a family place and usually smoking or vaping. This is beyond the control of the owners as the building is in a parking lot but it is something to be aware of.
I go back multiple times each season because the staff is wonderful.”
