“This wasn't my first time here but it is my first review of this cute place. When you go in you go and order at the counter, and then they bring your food to you. I met a group of lady friends for lunch. I love places like this because they're so different than what I'm used to in California. The drive here from Parkville is a very cool country road. There were a group of eight of us. They put a few tables together, so we were able to sit together. They also have picnic tables outside. I ordered Ruby don't go bacon my heart (lol love the name) Grilled cheese with jam and crumbled bacon. It was very good. Excellent combination of ingredients that went very well together. Grilled to perfection. It came with soft cheese and crackers and a pickle slice. Everything was very tasty. I also ordered a scoop of banana ice cream. All I can say is wow! I think that's one of my favorite ice cream's ever. They have some homemade jams and other things like cheese that are packaged so you can take home as well as t-shirts and sweatshirts. Great place, great atmosphere and very friendly people that work there. I will be back many more times.“
“Recently planned a BBQ treat lunch for one of the guys at the job for his birthday, fairly short planning window.I got really nervous after finding out LNS had been closed down for a couple of weeks, and I had less than the day left to secure the order for the goods.However, even with a late afternoon order time on Day-One of their reopening, LNS' service was great. They helped me order correctly so as to have the right amount and the best mix of meats to avoid overspending and eliminate excess or waste, but still have leftovers.LNS had my order ready right on time at the 11am pickup time.The rib slab, chicken, brisket, and pulled pork were awesome. Everyone was pleased.Totally recommend LNS for a custom project.“
“I came across this restaurant late while trying to decide what I wanted on my last night in town. I called the restaurant and asked about if they still had the oxtails with thirty minutes to spare before closing. The gentleman said yes and took my order over the phone so it would be ready by the time I got there. Little did I know that the restaurant was less than five minutes away. Fast forward, I get there and ended up sitting down. The owner, Dave, was very welcoming and engaging. I sat stayed and was able to enjoy a good home cooked meal along with good conversation. Dave makes everyone who comes feel like you are right at home. I will say one day I will try ginger beer. Good prices, chill vibes.. go check his place out if you’re in the area.“
