“Food was very good portions could be a little bigger. while we were their our server got a large party so we got lost in the shuffle but other than that I would definitely recommend & go back. Red velvet icing was a little lemony so don't like it very much.“
“This place should honestly be way busier than it is. My wife and I were there yesterday for probably the hundredth time, and we were talking about how this is the kind of place to bring family and friends that come in from out of town. It's so comfortable in the back on the patio, and it's honestly one of my most favorite patios in the city. This address has had issues in the past with restaurants not being able to stay open, I really hope this place is here for a long time“
“This restaurant is made up of nothing but artists, professionals, excellent service, and the food is simply the best of the best! Keep an eye out for all their events because everything they do, they do it well! “Went for a simple dinner and drinks with friends. There was a decent dinner rush we came in towards the end of on a Saturday evening at 730 but no wait. We enjoyed the tatchos and pretzel sticks with a few drinks before ordering burgers and the salmon blt. Food was good but we really liked the appitizers. Our server was still training but on her own and she was friendly and helpful and did a great job. They are open until 10 on sat but we were the last people there and left at 9pm. The vibe was good with others there and no one was rushing us but it felt odd to be so empty at 9pm. We will go back because we liked the food and service, but may go a bit earlier next time.“
“My new favourite place to get a delicious Waigu Burger and Giant sized Onion Rings. I went there to eat before the KC Chiefs parade ended which I'm glad I did since that was a tragedy that occurred. I ordered a Bacon Cheese Waigu Beef Burger with Mayo, pickle, lettuce, onion, and mustard and Ketchup with a Order if Onion Rings and a drink and then proceeded to seat myself so I could watch the Chiefs speak onstage on one of their flatscreen TV's they had mounted on the wall. About 5 minutes later mu order came out and was brought to me which I was impressed that they did. My Burger was super tasty and juicy and it was definitely delightful to eat. I loved the large shape of the onion rings and they were so delicious and fresh out the basket. I got my own drink from their automated touchscreen drink machine that carries Coke products. I got a Diet Cherry DrPepper and it was good and not flat. It was not crowded when I went there and the atmosphere was very comfortable and I felt safe and the service was friendly and I even talked to one of the cashiers who took my order after I ate and he was super friendly. I do recommend this place and look forward to trying additional menu items when I go back to JoCo. I'm so glad I went there for more reasons than one.Parking: I was able to park around the corner on the opposite side of BurgerFi. I did observe a parking garage but do not knoll if it was one you have to pay to park at or if it's free.“
“This is a hidden gem. While the it has traditional (and very tasty) breakfast/brunch items, the Mexican options are what keeps me coming back. I've has the enchiladas con huevos with pork green chile and the birria con huevos. Both were excellent, but the pork green chile is the star. If you want a Mexican twist for breakfast brunch in South KC/Leawood, give the Breakfast Spot a try - you will be glad you did. Maybe breakfast before parties on Cinco de Mayo!“
“Cactus Grill is very consistent. Mexican food that is more American style. But always very good. They brings all the chips and salsa you want. If you watch the Valpak, there's frequently a coupon (actually several on the page) for free espinanca or queso dip. Yum. Gotta save room for the entree. The service is always spot on. They do call aheads which is very convenient although it isn't always necessary. Casual.“
“The Greek charcuterie board(flat bread, olives, cucumber slices, greek yogurt and hummus dips) were amazingly good. But the tortellini with white sauce had mushy tortellini noodles($35) I've had way better, but my husband loved the fish of the day. (Sea salt encrusted baked fish, I'm not sure...but around $45) Only fish, no side dishes. Overall, the flatbread board was sooo good....everything else...way over priced. And ok.“
