This place is definitely closed. Signage is off the building. I have reported the closure to Yelp, but I presume it would not be best practice for them to take just one person's word for it. Unfortunately, I do not think enough people even cared about this place for Yelp to get more reports.

Now called King Tequila. Food was fine, but too expensive. $16 for a cheese quesadilla & $20 for a entrees with beans & rice makes this the most expensive Mexican restaurant in the area. The restaurant was empty at peak dinner time on a weeknight. We won't be back because there are several comparable quality Mexican restaurants in the area that are much more reasonably priced.

Any Mexican restaurant that charges for chips isn't a place I ever want to go again. And Stale chips too. This is fake mexican. A corporate shill

We arrived at 1230 on a Sunday and we chose to sit on the patio, a party of four. We understand they are under new ownership and etc. I honestly don't have anything good to say about our experiences. Their temporary paper menus had salsa and various things spilled on them. It took 25 minutes to get our margaritas. And one was supposed to be frozen and it wasn't. Took 8 minutes to get the correct one. Our server had not even taken our food order yet. So at this point, 35 mins after arriving, we were done. Our server said she was confused and we explained the wait times were unacceptable. Her response was she had many patrons inside to attend to. Also didn't like the fact each additional basket of chips is $1.99. Too many other Mexican food restaurants in town to waste time on a sub par one.

Back when it was Black Agave they had phenomenal food, fresh chips, amazing salsa. Now? Trash. They kept the same prices for margaritas but switched to cheaper tequila, the chips tasted days old, the salsa was OFF. I used to love going here and now it's just foul. Ordered enchiladas and they tasted strongly of cinnamon, not what I was expecting. I hope they can get back to the standards which once were but it may end up like all the other businesses in that building... Out.However, the staff was friendly, helpful, and speedy. Very kind people working there with not so great recipes and conditions to work with. I hope things get better.

We ate here Friday evening. This was our 3rd visit but 1st since they are "under new management" and have changed the name. First of all, our server was great. She has been there for awhile and was fantastic. She did solicit feedback from us which was refreshing. The manager was no where to be found even though they were not busy. 1. The prices here are WAY out of line with the area. Example - Their runny cheese dip was $8.99. Kmachos (yummy) cheese dip is $6.99. Their fajitas (for one) is $19.99, Kmachos is $13.99. The prices are extraordinarily high for the location/service/presentation and food. I don't mind eating at great places and paying higher prices but this place is ridiculous. There is zero value for what you get. They charge you for chip refills also. That wouldn't be bad but the chips are stale. We didn't finish the chips or the cheese dip. 2. The food is OK as best. There are way too many other Mexican restaurants that serve better food at a better value (Chelly's, K-Machos, Etc). The chips were stale, the cheese dip was like water. The salsa is pretty good though. 3. The interior is nice and this could be a "fun" place but the food/cost just kills it. I have attached photos of the new menu, complete with the misspelling of the word "Apetaizer." Don't walk from the place...RUN. There are way too many other restaurants that you can support with you $$$.

All of the negative reviews have a reply saying "we are under new management sorry", well the new management sucks as well. This place has very sub par food at best. They don't fill their drinks up all the way, the drinks are not good. The basket of chips are stale and they have the audacity to charge you if you get more than one. The food is EXTREMELY over priced for no reason. Nothing comes with sour cream and it's like $2.50 extra! You can get a whole bucket of sour cream for that much. There is nothing good about this place but the "atmosphere". Tried it twice, begrudgingly. Will never ever go back or recommend to anyone.

We were sitting unattended with our drinks for about 20 minutes. The appetizer came *after* our entrees. All the food was lukewarm except the fries. The server came by to ask if the food tasted okay after we had eaten almost all of it (too late to do that). The music was playing only intermittently. On the plus side, I liked the ambiance and decor of the restaurant, and the drinks were pretty good. The menu was extensive, but don't get the torta (it does not look or taste Mexican).

I don't know if it was the time of day or what, 2pm, but the service was not the best. It seemed everyone was too busy getting ready for the dinner rush or something. I ordered the red sangria and it came with dehydrated fruit on top which was very ugly. The test was just cheap red wine. The lunch menu was skimpy for choices with no real detail of what each dish consisted of. I ordered the taco salad and the only thing delicious was the light and flaky shell. The dressing was very hot and it had black beans. If I had a choice, I would have preferred a mild dressing and brown beans.

Ordered the Seafood Fajitas and Texas Fajitas. Both were excellent, and we left the restaurant with lots of leftovers to spare! Definitely would recommend this place. My girlfriend has been here twice, and thoroughly enjoyed it both times.

Malísimo no ha mejorado su servicio. Los tragos malos y la comida ni se diga. El ambiente de cantina. Horrible

I am so glad I found this restaurant. I had the beef grande burrito. It was excellent and very filling. The chips and salsa are excellent too. I will be back again soon.

Came in on a Friday night to grab a quick bite at the bar. Greeted promptly and order a black agave margarita which was served quickly and it did not disappoint. I was surprised at the diverse menu! They even have a ribeye and tomahawk steak! I ordered a dish I could not pronounce it was a stuffed steak and I added grilled shrimp, it was absolutely delicious. Impressive tequila assortment. Authentic decor and nice ambience. This restaurant is really great! Way better than any Margaritas or On the Border! It deserves a better rating so don't pass it up! ✌️
