“One of my favorite restaurants in the KC area. Elizabeth is just the sweetest. The food is always delicious, and incredibly beautiful, and their 1900 martini is out of this world.”

“This has to be so far my favorite bbq place I’ve ever been to. I haven’t been to many bbq restaurants but it’s my top choice so far. I tried the brisket sandwich and the chicken sandwich. I’ve got to say both were super juicy, tender, and delicious. I can see why the folks here in Kansas City love this restaurant. I was recommended by a friend of mine from here and he for sure was right about this restaurant. If you want a good bbq restaurant then you have to come to joes. I think the brisket sandwich is for sure what you have to come and try. The sandwich I got was called the Z man sandwich. Me, my family, and friends loved this place. Service was very good, fast, and the staff was super friendly. The restaurant was packed but it was easy to find seating and we were a huge party of 15. Very family friendly restaurant. Very kid friendly restaurant.”

“Passing through KC on a multi-state road trip, looked up best BBQ spots and Q39 was on multiple lists. Lunch did not disappoint. Wife and I had the Judges platers. Chicken, pork, and sausage for her. Brisket, ribs, and sausage for me. All of the meats were amazing.Our server, Maddie M., was very friendly and helpful in choosing options. Normally we enjoy having a slower paced meal but since we're traveling it was nice that we were in and out in under an hour. Highly recommend!”

“Would enjoy more vegetarian items on the menu. Dessert Souffles are great for Monday nights. I would also enjoy a savory souffle. The souffles might arrive faster if we had mentioned that when we reserved. However, we did order them the moment that we were seated. The wait staff seems to always be different people rather than loyal staffers.”

“My husband and I stopped in late last night and had the best Mediterranean food we've had in the KC area. The only thing to make it better was the people working. we had a chance to meet the owner and his mother and everyone was so welcoming and charming. We live by the airport, but this is my new hummus supplier because it's THAT good! We will be back and we will bring our friends.”

“Vegetarian options: Their veggie burger was very good. It wasn't representative of a true BBQ experience like the portobello z man from Joe's, but it still tastes great and accomplishes the true mission of being a sauce vessel.”

“Excellent oysters, po'boy, steak, clam dip and dessert. Hard to go wrong with any dish at this place. Atmosphere is upbeat and lively in a cozy environment. They recently finished their covered patio for some nice outdoor dining.”

“Terrific pastry shop. We are always on the look out for one. And this one didn't disappoint. We picked out several items. Hard to pick to between them all but if had to of what we got the lemon cake and the napoleon were wonderful. Lemon wasn't over powering just perfect. Wonderful after flavor and was so refreshing. The napoleon flavor wasn't summery like the lemon but so good. Very friendly and wonderful descriptions. We will be back. Highly recommend.”

“We had Garozzo’s cater our rehearsal dinner at Boulevard Brewing. From the very beginning they were extremely helpful getting the entire dinner together. They held a tasting at their restaurant downtown, where we were able to sample a lot of their different courses on their catering menu. This was a great way to find exactly what we wanted for our rehearsal dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic and they were constantly in touch with us through the entire process. They kept us up to date through the event. We highly recommend Garozzo’s to anyone needing any event catered.”

“My Birthday dinner, I was able to reserve a table for 18 the day before it was tough but they worked with me. Our waiter Corey was AWESOME he was patient & courteous never got an attitude which I can appreciate and took care of all our needs. Great food & great service!!”

Whether I'm with my husband or group of friends, she's always consistent, professional, and friendly! My favorite dishes are the cinnamon roll pancake and breakfast bowl, paired with the Luscious Lavender - YUM!!!”

“We had only been to Rockhille Grilel once before and didn't have a great experience. Buuuut, we decided to give it another try during their Happy Hour. I got their Bruschetta and it was the BEST I've ever eaten and so delightfully plated. Simple, yet classic. Our server, Trevor was EXCELLENT. The Rockhill Grille will DEFINITELY be on our, "regular" list”

“The best ramen I've ever had. During my time in Japan, I indulged in ramen multiple times, and upon returning to the USA, I found myself longing for that distinct flavor. Everything about their ramen is perfect. Their tuna mayo onigiri ( Tuna mayo rice ball) is exceptional. I'm definitely planning to visit again. Thank you.”

“Online ordering is the new trend. I ordered my food online as it was almost close to closing time for the day and I had very good service upon entry and my food was brought to me and was out the door in under a minute. I unfortunately did not get to tip the young lady that helped me and as I was fumbling looking for cash to leave. She said to me with a good attitude "it was the thought that counts" I appreciated that and hopefully someone can be able to pay it forward to her for such a beautiful attitude or maybe when I'm in the area next time hopefully she's there and I remember who she is to give her a tip. “I love coming to Anchor Island Coffee. The atmosphere is welcoming, inclusive, and queer owned. All the staff I have met are very friendly.They have the best iced carmel oatmilk latte in the area, and their buffalo chicken quesadilla is delicious.The downstairs area is quite small but there is plenty of seating upstairs. There are often pop ups of local vendors in the downstairs area as well. I have seen a variety of items from art, jewelry, soaps, and candles.There is lots of free/non-metered street parking, but how full it is can depend on the time/day and other events happening nearby. Usually I have no problem parking very close on a Saturday afternoon but on occasion I have had to circle the block.Parking: Street parking all around the shop and nearby blocks. Can be difficult depending on the time of day, day of the week, and any other events that may be happening nearby. There is a lot behind the building but I am unsure if it is public or for employees only.Wheelchair accessibility: Very tight space downstairs, but could be workable. The upstairs would be completely inaccessible.”
