“Went last night, a Friday, for the first time after happening across it looking for cocktails nearby. I live in Mission and had no idea this was here. I hesitate to be too glowing because I want to go every night and will need a seat! ? The drinks were *chef's kiss* and staff superb - we had our own girls night and it was the best ever! My one and only request would be they have some small nibbles available. I'm sort of a lightweight with alcohol and nuts or the like would help me have that second cocktail. ”

“I ordered the pick three…a half Reuben and tomato soup. The soup was great and the Reuben was good. The strawberry rhubarb pie was very disappointing. It seemed like strawberry jam and stewed rhubarb mixed together. Very gooey with little substance. The crust was good. Service excellent.”

“Always a favorite! My husband and I love The Peanut! Expansive menu that's super affordable, and inexpensive drinks. It can get crazy busy, but I've never experienced less than stellar service. Favorite salad of all time (chicken bacon avocado for the win) AND my favorite nachos (hot tip, if you're ordering as a main, the half portion is PLENTY)”

“This was my first visit. I do my laundry next door to the restaurant and the wonderful aroma made me want to try the food. I ordered carry out. When I picked up my food I was impressed with the inside. It looked very clean and colorful. The staff were very friendly and the food was very good. I will go back again.”

“Came in today just on a whim. I've had Mediterranean but it's not my go-to so I thought to mix it up and this was in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by the food.I started with a cup of Lentil soup. It was flavorful and subtle at the same time. I would definitely order a bowl next time.Following up, I ordered a gyro with a side of basmati. The gyro overall was good, but the taste of their sauce was a little too subtle than what I've had in the past. I also can't be too sure, but the cut of the lamb didn't seem fresh off the wheel like I've had before. It was good, but I did ask for a small side of tzatziki and tahini for extra pop. Basmati was good as well but I ended up using some of the tahini on that as well for some added flavor.I ended the meal with their assorted dessert plate to sample everything they had. The Ballourie (the thing that looks like a pair of Twix) was my favorite overall. Followed by the Burma Pistachio, which kind of tasted like sunflower seeds wrapped in shredded wheats, covered in honey; oddly delicious. The least, but still good, was the Baklava, which was a little too crunchy and not as tasty as the others. I'd order the assortment again, but I'd say one plate is good for one person, rather than to be shared.Now I will comment that even though the crew was nice, they were also not always present. I believe they must have been running a skeleton crew because the front person was also running to the kitchen to cook. That being said, this is definitely one of those places that feels more like an "order at the counter and eat at the table" sort of spot, rather than a full service. All the same, kind staff and was attentive with water and bussing when in eyesight.If I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop in again. Happy and well fed ?”

“This isn't your usual sneeze guard equipped sandwich factory. It's an actual shop where the staff is friendly and they seem to care about the food. The sandwiches are really good and there's a lot of variety in the menu.”

“I had ordered an item for lunch that was a little incorrect. I still wanted to eat it, because the food is amazing, and saved it for after work. When I went in to get some sauce, I explained why I was only there to buy sauce. Jackson and Charlize were AMAZING! They offered to correct the order from earlier in the day, although they had nothing to do with it… I was humbled by their act of kindness. Not only does this place have great food, their employees are super welcoming and have a great work ethic. Shoutout to CJ who was also working in the back!”
