I did not enjoy my experience.I did not like the food or the atmosphere. The food needs more seasoning the Greens was horrible. The tables are too close together.And that was uncomfortable. Best of luck, but this place is not for me.

I’m sad to be wrong on this one. I was looking forward to coming here after talking to the owner on the phone. He seemed so proud of his chicken & waffles and bbq, I couldn’t wait to come out.My husband got his order of pulled pork 20 minutes after ordering. 25 minutes after ordering, we got our cold mozzarella sticks. 28 minutes after ordering I got my chicken & waffles (yes, they serve you separately here). The barbecue is not low and slow cooked, it was charred and partially burnt (not like a smoke ring, this was charred from being cooked quickly). The waffles were cold and chewy and the chicken was bland and overcooked we ordered potato salad, and fries, but we never got them so I can’t attest to how they taste.I hope today was just a bad day, but I doubt I’ll be back to find out.

I got the Thursday special yesterday with a whole slab of pork ribs and two sides to go. I got one side of the smoky green beans and the other side was candied yams. There were 10 thick, lean, deliciously tender ribs in the box. I could only eat 2, but wanted to eat more because they were so good. I loved the yams. The green beans were made of fresh green beans, but must have cooked all day in a Smokey sauce. They were very soft, which some people won’t like. Some have said they are canned green beans, but I noticed they weren’t all cut the same size like canned green beans would be. I enjoyed the green beans because they were different, like possibly an old southern recipe. I will definitely be returning to get more ribs!!!

Everything was really good even put my boyfriend in a food coma.
Service was great, but with some tweaking of the buffet, this place has some good potential. I originally came in to try menu item, but when offered the buffet. I decided to try that for the variety. Well needless to say, there wasn’t much variety. The chicken was under cooked, and dessert looked like those little lemon cakes you get from Sam’s club. But aside from that, the other buffet items were okay. Just limited food options to choose from. The live band was really nice, played beautifully. Lastly the cook/owner looked frustrated, and was a little harsh with his words with one of the workers. You have to be mindful of being professional at all times, and not embarrassing your staff in front of customers.

Kiosk ordering sucks, tip before meal bad idea. They were very attentive and I would have tipped a lot more. The pork burnt ends sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. I am very picky about my smoked meats but they do it right everyone in our party said their order was great. Next time I will tip more and hopefully make it early enough in the day for the smoked Mac and cheese.
