A very good experience, the food was delicious and the staff is very friendly!! We will go again!
I got the Thursday special yesterday with a whole slab of pork ribs and two sides to go. I got one side of the smoky green beans and the other side was candied yams. There were 10 thick, lean, deliciously tender ribs in the box. I could only eat 2, but wanted to eat more because they were so good. I loved the yams. We visited close to closing time on Sunday and had some of the best catfish I’ve had in KC. The fried chicken and potato salad were also delicious, but what I appreciated most was how kind the owner was even as we chatted after closing time. We’re looking forward to going back on a night where we can enjoy the live music in addition to the fantastic service.
