“I always love eating at Maria's. Today I had the number three combo plate. The presentation and ingredients of the meal were of the same size portions as they were fifteen years ago. Being an authentic Mexican Restaurant with the Marine Corp motif. Prices have come up a tad, as all restaurants have but the eating experience is exactly as it always has been. You better be hungry if you eat at Maria's because the portions on the combo plates are large.“

“Yesterday I got to see great service love kindness and compassion. As I was eating my lunch I witnessed a guy over seated at a booth. It looked like he was very hungry and malnutrition. I've seen him get up and say something to the ladies at the he set back down. It was much longer and a lady came out with a piece of food and gave the man something to eat.. It really touched my heart in a way that hasn't been touched in a minute. As I watched him eat it he was crunched over starving. So I got up and I took out twenty dollars out of my wallet and gave to him. The man thanked me deeply. As I was walking out I went over and started talking to him. I ended up talking to him. I found out that he was homeless and he was walking in the rain. All the way to a job, he just started in Ottawa. All the way out from the south side to the north side to american eagle. He said he has been trying so hard to pull his life together. Anyways, the people I talk about were awesome. The food was decent and I got to see for first-hand true love and compassion for people. I will go back thank you and god bless.“
“Regular Mexican food place, but they have good menu choices. Be sure to read them all. I wanted chili rellenos but couldn't find them, weird. Then my wife found them in the vegan section! They were outstanding with black beans, rice, and small salad. She had enchiladas and really liked them. They also have a bar with good margaritas. Our waitress needed some English work as I don't speak spanish... it all worked out and we'll go back when in the area.Vegetarian options: Several options available.Parking: Small lot, but at lunch we had no problems.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu options, tables, booths.Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't need it, but doors seemed wide and with tables, just move a chair.“
